Agonda Serenity Beach Villa

The location and the quiet surroundings exceeded our expectations. The beach huts have direct access to the beach, and at our request, we were provided with our own sun loungers and a parasol (not all hotels offer this, even if they are located on the beach). All rooms are very spacious, and the bed was the largest we had during our tour. The rooms are cleaned daily on request, with fresh bed linen, hand towels and bath towels included. Breakfast is served on the terrace. We tried all the breakfast options, and everything was freshly prepared and delicious. We received three small bottles of water every day.There are excellent restaurants to the left and right of the villa that offer good value for money (we always went to Duck&Chill, which also brought food and drinks to the villa on request – highly recommended). The very friendly manager of the Raj Hotel was always available and took care of every request and organised everything (laundry, Blackwater tour, taxi service). Agonda is not overcrowded, very quiet and at times you have the beach and the sea to yourself. There are small shops, restaurants, bars and cheap massages within walking distance at the back of the villas. Many thanks to Raj and his team for a relaxing stay.

I liked the stay a lot and the service was extremely good. Everything was maintained properly. The host was very helpful. Would recommend this if you want to enjoy beach and a staycation.

Very nice location and property

Room facilities need to be improved, bathroom facilities were not upto to mark. I paid 10k which was not value for money. Good location if you are looking for direct beach access from room

Breakfast was only ok but coffee was really good. Subhash, the room staff, went out of his way to take care of our needs since there are no facilities in the place. The a.c. worked fine. The best was the room opened right on the beach and was elevated 1.2m leading to a beautiful view of the ocean.

Minor niggles in the room- overall everyjting is in good working order. The walk into the villa from the car is long and very downmarket for the amount paid. Bathroom is a climbdown of 1.2m from bedropm which is a safety hazard at night. Lighting is too beight and disturbs fellow occupants/ partner. Mattress is old and non supportive. Jacuzzi is very strange owth open plastic pipes to draw a bath. Verandah furniture is not rain proof and cushions need to be brought in when it comes down. The beach is a disappointment. It is totally unkempt with no effort being taken to clear the detritus. Cows roam the place freely and dirty the place. Packs of dogs all over the beach creating an unsafe environment.
