Ocean View Beach Resort - Kalpitiya

Location is good.

Prices in the restaurant. The most overpriced food we had in Sri Lanka.

The location is very good literally on the beach. Highlight was falling asleep listening to the crashing waves on the beachfront 20meters from the Cabana. Although the rooms are very basic,the beds are very comfortable and we slept very well there. The wifi was very good 👍 Sugath is an excellent host, arranged Lagoon trip with his brother and Wilpatu safari trip for us. He was very obliging and like a friend by the time we were leaving his property. The other staff were always smiling and friendly, making sure we were fed & when we wanted to To eat. Thank you to you all, we really enjoyed our stay in kalpitiya and hope to be back next year. Kindest regards, Aoife and Mario ❤️

The flies in kalpitiya at this time of year ande very annoying, but nothing anyone can do about this 😔

the best view in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰, greatest value for money! the hosts are warm and the breakfast was healthy and sumptuous

The location is perfect, that's what makes the price. The boys for the device are friendly, but everything needs endless time. They even do not have a Menü so the prices are kind of flexible.the management is poor and unfriendly ,you don't get any proper information for the boat activities. Food is mediocre, cleanliness "so what", the beach is wonderful and you have direct access. Better managed it would be a great place.
