ES Deurali Resort

It was already our second time in this resort and we will come back definitly next year, the stay is amazing nr peaceful, you have beautiful views, amazing taracce to watch the mountains, you can do hiking around. And the food is very tasty and the Staff very warm and nice and you feel like at Home. They are very welcoming. And I visited thousands places around the world, i am flight attendant and I can this is on top of my list (and regarding the mountains stay this is number one without any doubt!!!) The rooms are nice with good views, hot water, heating blankets, hester etc. And for me the taracce and the dining area are just magic, they have atmosphere and they are unique. Thank you very much Mr Pasang and all your family for making our stay so wonderful and we will come back again!

This place is amazing. The room is so spacious it feels like a cottage. There's a large window / a glass wall with full view of the mountains from your bedroom. Pasang and his family are so lovely, their warm hospitality makes me feel like I'm at home. I can't thank Pasang enough for helping me organizing my trek to Mardi Himal base camp. I had the best time staying at ES Deurali Resort and a trip of a lifetime.

Really nice family owned resort. It has incredible views of the mountains from your room and the main deck area. the family is incredibly nice. very relaxing

Great location, good size room, comfortable bed. Hot water. Great restaurant and Lobby area. Nicely decorated, great Views and very comfortable seating. Wifi was good in the Restaurant and Lobby areas and 4G too. Food was great. Staff were all excellent, polite, attentive and very good at making you feel at home. As it’s Tahir and lots of clouds, the night view was limited, but on a clear night, it would be a great place to see the Stars as well as the Mountains.

Full view of the Annapurna range in a relaxed and quiet setting (full mountain views from the rooms as well). Wonderfully warm family run lodge, delicious food, easy pickup and drop off from the nearby international airport.

Location! Beautiful views and hiking trails close by. I enjoyed the food! Other posts said it wasn’t good, but I thought it was tasty. The owners are also very friendly and even helped me with ideas for a trek I wanted to do. I already had a guide but they also have a trekking company and lots of experience if you are interested!

Nothing really but 2 notes for future guests- 1.At first I didn’t know how to order food. There is a restaurant but the staff is usually not inside (working around the property) however once I knew I could ask and who to ask for food I was okay! 2.Also, there is not AC or fireplace in the room as it says on the listing. There was a fan and fire pit outside.

Everything was perfect! Especially the view was extraordinary!

The location is unparalleled situated close to the surrounding mountains. Despite us having visited off season,we still saw some great views of the mountains, even if it was mostly cloudy, with a superb pastel-like sunset. Undoubtedly the views are absolutely incredible on season and would justify the stay alone. During our visit a local walk was also a great opportunity to see the local rice paddies and a view onto the city below. The room was quaint with stunning views from the bedroom due to the very large window. Food was excellent and the decor in the main living area was very authentic and tasteful. An interesting cultural experience to try the Tongba millet drink which was both flavoursome and boozy! We also very much enjoyed the homemade tea.

There were a number of things missing from what was advertised. There was for instance no hot tub (there is a bath although it was quite dirty). There is also no air conditioning, but there is a fan. This would likely not be an issue on season as it is cooler but during the monsoon season when we visited the room was a little muggy. Additionally the hotel was described as accessible so we brought our large suitcases. However while it has a paved path leading most the way up there is a narrow gravel path to reach the property or go up a very steep and long staircase. As such anyone with mobility issues would likely struggle to access the property. Finally, the level of English was very low among the staff at the hotel - it seems the owner was not there which meant we had no insight about the local area etc.
