Okada Manila

I love the location of the hotel. It’s near Mall of Asia and Manila NAIA Airport.

The rooms didn’t have an updated charging port. It would also be nice if they have a free shuttle to the airport. When I asked the hotel, they said it’ll cost 3500+ pesos from Okada to NAIA. If you take grab from the hotel to NAIA, it cost us 200 pesos. Book a grab! Also I had to ask for the manager because they canceled our reservation even though I showed them my booking confirmation. They said my card didn’t match my name and they tried to notify me. However it hasn’t even been more than 3hrs of notification and I was on the plane so I was not able to respond. I got there and was told that I have no booking and that it was cancelled couple of hours ago. Can you imagine arriving to a hotel hella tired, with kids, no sleep and hungry af? Yea bullshit. Also ended up paying double the price because now they call it last minute booking after they cancelled it. Left me with no choice, I was cornered with no room and a tired family. Fuck this place.

The executive suite was clean beddings are clean as well.

We had access to executive lounge and on check in i stated we will have company and asked if we can have them there for breakfast and pay the additional breakfast fees for them.The lady said on check in to just walk in and pay for my guests -on the day they denied and said no we cant take our guests there .i took them to the medley buffet but was expecting since my husband and i wouldnt be paying since after all ours was part of the stay -free executive lounge breakfast but NO WE HAD TO PAY.we had guests so we paid for our and guests despite disappointment.THE BUFFET IS overrated-not the best.Something went wrong on the juicing side they had to vaccum and it smelled like sewer.The customer service is below par seems like they were very concerned with upkeeping the place than give great customer care.Though the the bar staff where we watched the band were all great .the luggage attendants ,bell boys where all great and attentive to them i give them a 10.

Room and breakfast

I booked a non smoking room but was assigned to a smoking room. The receptionist said that it's only the hallway that will smell tobacco but I asked to be transferred to a non smoking room.

Despite my very late check-in, 12mn, the room wasn't ready and they made us wait for 30 mins before we entered the room. Understaffed. The leak in the telephone shower extended to the main bathroom and flooded half the floor.
