Alona Royal Palm Resort

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was spacious and was well decorated. The bathroom was stunning and the shower was hot and had good pressure. We liked the location - close to restaurants etc and 15 min walk to Alona beach. The pool and outdoor area are really nice to chill in. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They helped us to organise a countryside tour which we would recommend. There are also 3 really cute dogs who live there!! The breakfast is good, lots of choice. The bar is well stocked and we particularly enjoyed the beer on tap! We would visit again and would recommend to our friends / family if they were visiting Bohol.

Nothing, although we would say it was nice and quiet, not a big party vibe if that’s what you were wanting!

Great staff & Stefan the host was very helpful

The whole facility was friendly, the staff made you welcome, breakfast meals that we had were yummy. Not trouble at all for the staff if you needed anything. It was approx.5 minute walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants.

Beautiful small oasis. Ten rooms that have been designed to a very high standard. Large spacious rooms with attention paid to small detail. This "resort" is owned by a lovely German and Philippino couple. He is a trained chef and that shone through in the food.

Clean, smart, quiet aircon that really worked, friendly owners, helpful. Beautifully appointed hotel. I love dogs so that was great. Helpful owners with tours and getting a trike when you need.

How you get in the gate. If you don’t like dogs, there’s 3 on site that roam around freely. The path to the rooms is nice looking but massive trip hazard.

The entire setting of the premises , the room, the amenities, cleanliness and staff, also the location was great and a taxi can drive up to the gate no problem.

I wish their pool jacuzzi was heated as it should be .
