Alona Royal Palm Resort

Although it is close to Alona Beach center, the accommodation was very quiet, making it perfect for relaxing. The location was also excellent, so it was very convenient to go to supermarkets, massage shops, and restaurants. The room condition was good, and the air conditioner was not positioned directly above the bed, so there was no risk of catching a cold. In addition, breakfast could be chosen from five different styles, which gave a good variety of options. The swimming pool is small but a nice size to relax and enjoy some time in the water. If I have the chance, I would definitely stay here again.

When entering the property, make sure to ask the taxi or tuk-tuk driver to take you all the way to the accommodation entrance. It can be a bit difficult if you have to pull your suitcase from the main road. Also, if it rains heavily, your feet might get wet when walking out to the main street, so please keep that in mind.

A little piece of paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Staff were so friendly, attentive, was lovely speaking to them every day. Had a really nice vibe, chilled and pool was perfect to relax by. Ate at the restaurant one evening and steak was cooked to perfection! Cannot fault this place

Very good location it is down a side street but so quiet and peaceful. Great for tours, beaches and waterfalls. Super clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Amazing Breakfast and dinners well worth having chief is very good.

Hotel in ottima posizione, centralissimo ma fuori dal rumore e dalla folla. Camera bella con letti comodi, pulita e spaziosa. Buona e piacevole la piscina e ottima la colazione

Nice ambiance

Breakfast was nothing to look forward to. It was minimal with a serving of a sliced banana, 3 small pcs of watermelon and pineapple each to be shared with two people. I asked to substitute my juice for a fruit plate. At first, the waiter said no but eventually, agreed. The German roll was awful. The cook came in late (at least 10 min) the first morning of our stay. My order was ready after a little more than 20 minutes. It was too late to eat due to a tour at 8 am. They were not giving any fruit until the cook showed up. The pillows were awful, smelly and no support. Suggest to put a layer of sheer curtains. Best to look for different accommodations.

From check in to departure everything exceeded our expectations in this boutique resort a short walk from Alona Beach. A warm welcome awaited us and despite our late arrival the kitchen managed to rustle up an excellent meal. The facilities are excellent, the rooms, the pool and gardens are spotlessly clean and well maintained. The onsite restaurant has an extensive menu of local and western food of the highest quality from the excellent breakfast to the delicious evening meals. Stefan & Mary Ann run a top class facility, an oasis of calm in bustling Panglao Island Bohol. A special mention goes to Tequila, Whiskey and Sunny the family dogs who made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
