Sunset at Las Cabanas

- location has nice views and it lays away from the noisier parts of town

Money for value is not worth it. Things i didnt like: - very low shower pressure. Ridiculous - no interior design, eg little fridge acts as bed table - breakfast has very limited options, quality is regular and they wanted to charge me for one more coffee - there were many people from the staff around yet without much to do - it is a bit inconvenient having to walk 15’ from main road to hotel (this is something they could be more transparent about) - when in my room, i could listen to the music playing at the bar next door very loud

We were welcomed with colds drinks upon arrival. Three lovely staff members waited for us at the Vanilla Beach entrance to help us carry our bags even though we only had two small suitcases. The staff was incredibly helpful. accommodating, and fun to talk to sharing lots of interesting information and stories. Breakfast was excellent and served next door, just a few steps from the property. There are a lot of amenities at Vanilla Beach. Get a massage at the spa closest to the gym while you are in the area!

Some people may have trouble walking the 10 minutes - on the beach - to get to the resort, but we did not mind it t all and we, in fact, enjoyed getting some additional steps in especially after meals.

Amazing location - at the very corner of Las Cabanas/Maramegmeg beach - good views in both directions. Nice beach hut, separate bathroom (nice-sized bathroom, clean, decent water pressure). Good, strong airconditioning, which keeps the mosquitoes at bay. Staff were helpful, communicative and friendly (they helped carry our bags from the McDonald's pick up point which was about 10 mins walk through the beach - hard work!) Very good internet signal. Helpful breakfast servers. Good beach for swimming, walk a bit towards Vanilla beach (sandy beach), but for snorkelling, best to go towards the rocky island near the resort (we saw a turtle!).

There was no direct route from taxi drop-off to the beach, but the staff helped us with our bags (couldn't have done it without them). Note that high tide is in the morning, so if you try to walk through the beach between 7am-12pm, you will need to walk through the water (which thankfully hotel staff helped with our bags by carrying on their heads). Breakfast started slightly late at 8am (which is not helpful for our morning island trip). There are lots of flies, ants and mosquitoes (but this is expected for a tropical island - use insect repellent and just keep swatting off the flies).

Our bungalow was located on the beach, extremely remote and nice beach with good view. Breakfast is served on the next resort. Bungalow is small but was enough for two people and has nice balcony. There is AC, big bathroom and shower. Only path to the place is via shore. Crew are very helpful, they met with us beside MacDonald and carried our luggage to the room.

The Porter was late to pick me up from the Mall nearby but it's okay I was able to carry my luggages with me :)

I loved the location and the rooms were comfortable.

Food was average. Ziplines going all day.

Location is absolutely amazing! A great place to just relax and sunset is beautiful. Shout out to Mike who was extremely service minded and kind!

Staff could have been more approachable. Sometimes, it felt like we were bothering them when asking questions. It would have been nice if they could have been a bit more informative regarding the breakfast and that it was at a different hotel.
