South Mountain Resort

The place was beautiful, we got the family room which had 2 bedrooms and our 3 little kids managed to sleep in the extra big bed. The kitchen was nicely equipped which let us cook some meals when we didn't want to go out. The hotel restaurant was good too and we managed to find kids-friendly food too (not always doable on our trip). There are 9 cute dogs in the hotel which we got to know and the kids got to take part in the daily fish-feeding activity too :) The swimming pool is beautiful and we had it entirely for ourselves throughout our stay, with a little bridge the kids loved jumping from. I also enjoyed swimming under the stars one evening - gorgeous! The staff is very friendly and the owner does above and beyond for guests to feel at home and is always thinking of ways to improve the place. He even helped us tow the car when I stupidly went into a no-car road and got stuck... Location is close to the nearby village which was very convenient with a car for different attractions as well as restaurants / cafes etc. Anyone looking for a place in Siquijor - this is it!

If you don't have a car it might be trickier, we haven't tried so not sure. With a car there are also parts of the road from the village to the hotel that are more difficult to drive, but we managed and drove every day.

Hosts were amazing can’t put it into words there was a storm and they were meant to be closed and had no staff and they called people in to accommodate us and were the most amazing people you could imagine I would definitely recommend.

Nice stay, friendly staff . Originally booked the Seaview room extremely tiny and not comfortable for 2 people to fit. Hotel upgraded to a villa highly recommended very nice and comfortable for a couple stay. View is quite obstructed due to so many trees but is quite lovely to stay . Overall good stay . Book a villa room not the standard room .

Road up to property is very dangerous. Do not book this unless you are very experienced with motorcycles. Very bad road, steep and needs attention.

The owner and the staff are great people. We were invited for Father's Day lunch,The food was great The accommodation was great. I highly recommend South Mountain Resort..

I really enjoyed my stay at South Mountain. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are clean and well-kept. As a solo female traveler I really value somewhere I feel safe and this resort exceeded my expectations. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Nothing besides the air con being too cold (which isn’t really something not to like in the Philippines).

Beautiful family-owned hotel. You can tell that the owners put a lot of care and thought into it. Pictures and description are accurate. We were comfortable and happy. The staff was wonderful, especially Ronald who was very sweet ! Big up to him and the rest of the staff.

Amazing pool, delicious food, super helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms with terase, room service, renting a motorbike for a good price.
