River Kwai Park & Resort

The lake view cottage was great, clean and all mod cons, and toilet. Very quiet, river is 2 min walk . It’s good value for what it is. But you need your own transport, as place is large, no restaurant in evening , so u have to drive 10-15 minutes for some decent restaurants, there is one over the road and close by but did not eat there. Also there is no pool it’s drained

Der Park in dem man wohnt ist ein Naturparadies, es gibt Warane, tropische Vögel, Glühwürmchen...und vieles mehr.....es ist ein so friedlicher Ort. Wir waren begeistert.

Leider ist das ganze Areal etwas vernachlässigt, es macht den Eindruck, dass nicht mehr investiert wird....das ist so schade...es sollte unbedingt erhalten bleiben.

Vraiment spécial, le personnel ne parle pas un seul mot d’anglais. Dès notre arrivé nous avons été refroidis, arrivé à 18h30 (il faisait déjà nuit et c’est en perdu dans la jungle) on apprend qu’on ne mangera pas ce soir. Sur booking le restau était noté ouvert jusqu’à 19h, en réalité ils prennent les dernières commandes à 17h30….. les deux restau en face de la rue fermaient à la même heure. Autant vous dire que c’est perdu et qu’il vaut mieux pas avoir d’enfant sinon ils mangeront pas, il y avait un frigo à boisson mais personne pour nous en vendre non plus. Le lendemain on demande des infos sur les bus, repas etc c’était compliqué même avec Google traduction.

Лучшие дни гостиницы явно в прошлом, после 6 вечера ресторан не работал, спасибо что хотя бы дождались и заселили ибо после 7 вечера персонала уже не было. Скромненько, в длинные выходные других вариантов не оставалось. Бассейн не работает от слова совсем, фотографиям на сайтах верить нельзя.

Why is this hotel not closed??? No WIFI in the room, the pool has not seen water for years. The breakfast was atrocious. The extensive grounds are not looked after. The staff disappeared and we had to switch on all the lights in the reception area, the only place with WIFI miles away from the room. We needed our car for this!! Really absolutely to avoid!
