Lung Pod 9 resort

Hard to say… besides that’s a good stop over before an early morning flight from Chumpon Airport and the restaurant 7 minutes walk opposite the street at the beach was amazing (local Thai food)

The beds were hard, the sheets were very synthetic, the shower was cold and dripping, the interiors of the apartments were very dated (beyond retro..), the staff doesn’t speak English and continues calling while checking in… All in all not exemplary for Thai hospitality..

the location is great if flying from chumpon airport. the woman who runs it is very nice. great value

unfortunately it was extremely run down. the air conditioner was leaking a lot so it was unusable. there was a window in the bathroom that wouldn’t close which made me feel unsafe as a solo traveller. there was no linen on the pillows or comforter? there was also mould on the ceiling and there was no doorknob on the bathroom. the room was very cheap but I would stay elsewhere, I didn’t feel comfortable.
