Alcove Bungalow

After staying in countless bungalows where the minimum effort is made, it is a breath of fresh air to find hooks, working hot water, hammocks, privacy screens, good lighting (omg, our last place had only 6000k bedroom lights, I'd rather be in the dark!) this place, with its attention to taste and detail was exactly what I needed. The owner, the hostess, and every employee i talked to was kind, pleasant, and helpful! And the location was a quick walk to many high quality restaurants!

Beautifully decorated and very comfortable large bungalow with some lovely extra touches. Very tastefully done. Very kind and attentive owner and staff.

The bungalows are very close to both the very busy main road AND the Alcove beach bar making it very noisy until after midnight. The bar, same owner, is also lovely and very busy so in addition to noise if you’ve hired a motorbike to get around you’ll have some trouble finding a place for it or getting it out as there are maybe 40 bikes parked there in the evenings. On two morning ms out of 4 I came down to find my bike with a loose wing mirror and had to find staff with a wrench to help fix. FYI bungalows 5,6 & 7 are furthest from the road and bar so best if you wish to avoid the worst of the noise (these are also the more expensive option).

It’s in the jungle so doesn’t get much light and all my clothes felt slightly damp. The restaurant over the road is a bit noisy but they give you earplugs!

Obiekt wygodnie zlokalizowany - skuterem wynajętym ze sklepu obok można dojechać szybko do Centrum jak również wybrać się na bardziej odległe i piękne plaże czy na Wodospady. Przepiękna zielona roślinność dawała poczucie spokoju oraz wrażenie prywatnej Jungli, dzięki niej również hałasy z ulicy oraz lokali znajdujących się obok obiektu tuż przy plaży nie były uporczywe. Personel przemiły, życzliwy i bardzo pomocny! W bezpośredniej lokalizacji znajdują się liczne restauracje oferujące pyszne śniadania oraz obiady.

Łazienki bardzo ciemne i brakuje w nich kontaktów do suszarki czy innych sprzętów AGD. Brak usługi odbioru z portu (no shuttle).

Beautiful rooms fully equipped for all eventualities including a few extras. Lovely helpful staff. Super interesting decor and lighting. Great comfy beds and bedding and lots of little extra touches making it feel a bit special.

Can be noisy at until midnight due to location close to loud bar. But they give you earplugs! There's not much beach there...it's only thigh deep at best, so you can't really swim. Because of the location in the jungley area, (and it rained a few times), it was quite dark and damp.

Vriendelijkheid van personeel en eigenaressen. Je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt. Vrijheid"proef" je daar....

Enige tip is dat de douche meer "waterdruk" mocht hebben.
