"Perfect for what I needed"

8.0

We have stay at this site for the last few weeks for work, and each time the staff have been super helpful

EE phone coverage is awful here, which is not any fault of the property, O2 and Vodafone seemed ok 👍🏻

"Love the area with the marsh walks having had excellent improvements made. Value for money for 7 day stay was superb and"

Been many times over last 20 years. Site has become tired over this time but great to see looks to be on the up now with two new caravans replacing old ones whilst i was there. The caravan i stayed in was very clean with good heating options available at what was a cold spell.

Had to ask for a few items that weren’t in place on arrival. Washing up liquid, additional bigger pan, loo roll. Staff very responsive to the ask so sorted very quickly.

"Cold, in fact freezing, no decent quilts, thin and light, you would of expected thick winter ones"

2.0

On first impressions lovely, then the Tv did not work, they managed to find a free sat box. The cooker did not work so hubby went outside to see if it was turned on, then got it going. No kitchen cooking pots, 1 saucepan and 1 baking tray in oven. The patio doors were not locking so the man had to try and sort that out Sunday morning, he did see if there was another caravan they could move us too, but there was none free. He used wood and nails in the end which did the trick it stopped the door from being opened, but did not look good. The new boiler had leaked, said it was from the day before as that’s when it was put in, the carpet was soden up to the far bedroom, not nice to walk on. Stayed in the living room Saturday night as no lock on patio doors, so didn’t feel safe. Sunday the boiler turned on was going well stopped later in the afternoon, read the book left with it, just needed to reset, worked fine again. At bedtime it was freezing the quilt was so thin and light, not even a winter quilt, I got up as was cold, sat in the living room with the 1 single quilt was better than nothing to keep warm, hubby got up at 3am, he too was cold, went to turn the heating on but this gave another error, but would not reset. We decided then to leave, we packed up, wrote a note and put that with the key in an envelope dropped it in the reception letterbox on our way out. We left at 5.15am after being there just over 24 hours. Also snowed that night. Regards Rona and David Gray

As what I said in the above

"Great location, shame about the property"

3.0

The location was great - in the middle of nowhere

On arrival the caravan smelt like wet dog throughout, couch was heavily stained and generally worn down. Tv didn’t work and despite getting a freeview box from reception the aerial had no signal. I didn’t want to go back and ask for help a 3rd time as the despite the shop stating open 10-6 it was always closed meaning I felt like a hindrance ringing the bell
