Panhou Retreat

Tolle Anlage, versteckt im Regenwald, umgeben von Bergen und Reisterassen, fernab von touristischen Hochburgen. Absolut freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal aus den umliegenden Dörfern, daher sprechen nicht alle Englisch, aber das ist kein Problem, sondern betont den authentischen Charakter der Anlage. Toller Pool mit Blick ins Tal und auf die Reisterassen. Es werden super Aktivitäten angeboten (Private Wanderungen durch die Reisterassen, lokale Kochkurse). Die Zimmer waren modern, authentisch und gehoben ausgestattet. Kurzum, es war alles perfekt, wir kommen hoffentlich irgendwann wieder.

The beds weren't super comfortable but other than that everything was perfect.

Nos alojamos solo 1 noche y nos hubiera encantado quedarnos más. Merece la pena disfrutar del hotel y sus alrededores con calma. La ubicación es única, en medio de la naturaleza, con vistas impresionantes, sobre todo desde la piscina. Las habitaciones tienen muchísimo encanto. La nuestra daba al río y además tenía una piscinita propia de aguas termales. El trato recibido fue también excelente. Lo recomiendo a cualquiera que quiera ir a Hoang Su Phi.

Panhou Retreat is a place I keep coming back to, and each visit surpasses the last. This is my third time here, and I’m certain it won’t be the last. The retreat offers a tranquil escape from the hustle of everyday life, with its peaceful atmosphere and complete seclusion from any outside disturbances. It’s the perfect destination for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge. The natural surroundings and the soothing sounds of nature make this place a haven for relaxation.

The trail is designed to suit different levels of fitness, from beginners to seasoned mountain climbers. Along the way, I got to admire many interesting things: small Dao Doi villages, vast terraced fields, and unique plants that the guide introduced. At the end of the journey, I was tired but my soul was invigorated and full of energy.

The open space with a view of the mountains made me feel relaxed from the moment I started. The instructor was very attentive, always reminding everyone to focus on their breath and feel each movement. After the class, I felt not only physically stronger but my mind was also much calmer. This was truly a special experience I want to repeat.

The property is stunning, surrounded by nature and very peaceful. Our room was extremely spacious and very clean – truly a pleasure to stay in. The staff were kind, especially the Supervisor, who took excellent care of us. The infinity pool overlooking the mountains is magnificent. We also enjoyed the cooking class service, which was an interesting, enriching, and fun experience. The walk to the nearby tea farm was very pleasant, and the tasting experience is not to be missed. We rested and relaxed – two perfect days!

The peaceful atmosphere, minimalist decoration, but fully equipped facilities made it very comfortable. Perhaps it’s because the room is nestled among the mountains, so it’s always cool and pleasant. The bedding is extremely clean and smells of herbs. At night, lying in bed and listening to the sounds of nature truly soothes my soul.

Traditional clothing and old farming tools offer a deep and emotional look into the culture here. I spent almost an hour admiring each piece and listening to interesting stories from the staff. Definitely worth a visit!

First, the peaceful space with a wide view, a clean bathroom, and a large wooden bathtub made the experience very special. The herbal fragrance blended with the steam felt like being embraced by nature. After the bath, I felt much more relaxed, and my sleep was deeper and more restful. This is why I will deefinitely come back to Panhou.
