location of the place, feel not safe with the surrounding.. no food at surrounding, need to go main town to have some food.. been inform by the staff by im calling earlier about the food, but they not mention we need to go main town to order food. we are new guest,we don’t know the location of the hotel to high and more dangerous when drive at the hotel.. its to difficult for us to going down after we arrived..its good if u publish in media social or you web with honest review. it’s totally different from the web side.
MYThe place is truly zen! Service is great, attentive and considerate. We did barbecue and we brought our own grill rack, stove and pot. It began to get colder around 9 pm so put on warm clothes! Quite windy as well so you need to be prepared if you're planning to do barbecue. The water heater works well and good pressure as well. The blanket is keeping us warm the whole night. Only few people came during our stay so it was a peaceful and quiet stay.
-No slippers but we brought our own. -I woke up a few times at night because the people next door snored loudly

Be aware of the steep hill you will need to drive up to get to the hotel. Room a little small.
MYMYMYTranquil surroundings, with birds chirping and stargazing at night. The room was overall okay, though basic. No TV available since this is supposed to be a meditation retreat, but board games were available for rent from the reception. Ample tea bags and coffee provided in the room with sugar as well.
The road heading up to the hotel was treacherous. It is not a tar road with many potholes and dips throughout. Since the road is narrow and can only accomodate 1 car per time, you need to use a walkie talkie to contact the reception before you want to journey from the main road to the hotel. Bathroom had no handwash or shower curtain. Note: there is no view of Mount Kinabalu from this hotel.
