Gallene Gala Nature Resort

Gallene Gala Nature Resort is an idyllic location next to the river and in the middle of the jungle. The location is very serene and beautiful. The place is a tad hard to find and the journey via tuk tuk to the hotel is an adventure. The hosts were kind.

The rooms (while clean) were a tad tired.

Stunning hidden oasis, the natural pool was a welcome treat after a long tuk tuk journey. Mona and her family were wonderful hosts during our stay, amazing evening meal and breakfast!

Hard to find, and difficult road to access property. We had a tuk tuk and it struggled! Lovely locals helped us find the property.

Amazing home cooked Sri Lankan style food, beautiful natural pool, spectacular views nearby the stay. Kitulgala is famous for toddy, ask Mona (who manages the stay) for a bottle or two.

If there is paradise it must look like this. It is hard to reach (impossible by car, but duable by tuk tuk), but when you arrive.... look for yourself!

So much close to the Nature .

Incredible location. Fantastic food.

Perhaps a little less privacy because rooms are close to eachother, but didn’t bother for this great experience.
