the more expensive rooms, although with balcony and bigger in size, don’t get the Mountain View. quite weird. the lower category rooms have a way better snow capped Mountain View.

Location and overall feeling

Breakfast variety and taste both need improvement . Staff need more training to increase their and efficiency.

No pool or gym but the tariff is as much as the other 4 star properties with these facilities . They close the bar n restaurant by 10 pm 😔 I understand abt cars polluting the air but there was no need for buggies if the car cud reach just the main entrance portico cos during the rains it was in convenient to change over to the buggy

One guest had to change rooms 3 times due to noisy aircon units. It was advertised that the pool, spa and gym were temporarily closed due to covid and when we visited post covid they admitted the truth that they had not been built yet. It's clearly NOT a retreat. Even before we arrived the hotel tried to get me to prepay everything in full by making up a lie that UK credit cards were no longer accepted in India. There was never a senior duty manager available for problem resolution. The food selection was limited. The wifi was terrible. The hotel had very little atmosphere.

The location is good, view from our room was superb. The mountains view and sunset both were beautiful and amazing from our room balcony. Had a wonderful time and pleasant experience at Storii, the ambience inside the property is also very good, the dining area needs special mention. Staff overall are very good, courteous and very friendly.

Check in process was very bad, had an un pleasant experience. The lady was very unprofessional, she was not ready to share the room details unless 50% advance is paid, though one of us was available to complete the process, on insisting the duty manager was called and from there on everything was smooth. Mr. Jitender, the duty manager was very helpful and professional. However we paid 100% and more after we entered our room to avoid further embarrassing moments.
