Solina Beach & Nature Resort

Solina made my son’s birthday extra special with a wonderful dinner by the beach. The staff were all superb—very attentive, kind, and accommodating throughout.

We encountered a big cockroach in our CR on the first day, but the staff promptly responded and resolved the issue. Despite this, the overall service remained commendable due to their quick action and attentiveness.

Rooms were not super clean and could use some update. Also there was plastic waste on the beach that could be easily picked up by the staff, but was ignored. Staff was mediocre in general, except few exceptions who were great. Food was average, the traditional Filipino dishes were very blend, lacking taste. It was incomparable to dishes I ate just closeby at my g/f place in the same region. Also it happened multiple times that staff in the restaurant was cleaning up and we had to call them to make them aware of us, otherwise they would ignore completely us. It was unprofessional, I guess lack of proper training and no sense of priorities. When we asked for something like a ride to the front desk in a heat, we had to wait for minimum 15-20 minutes every time. When I compare it to my stays on Boracay or Palawan, the value for money was very low here, but the resort has potential to be amazing if they improve the staff.

The facilities, the friendly staff, the cute huts, food is more than okay.

Nothing (except for the geckos)

First of all, the breakfast was great with so many options. I would never miss to order their omelette, toast some bread, and have coffee. All are amazingly delicious! The location is perfect. You can never miss a great sunset and sunrise. There are so so many things to do: kayaking, volleyball, foosball, badminton, billiards, pingpong which are all free. Then you have a karaoke room but you also have live bands. Not to mention, the smores by the sea. If you the beach isn't available, you have the beautiful sweimming pool by the resto. Wifi is great as well. We didn't want to go home, in fact, we extended one more day and honestly, if we didn't had work to worry about, we would have stayed a bit longer.

This is a beautiful property with all amenities, lovely gardens. We stayed in premium room which I would recommend. Food at restaurant is good.

For a property of this caliber the showers were terrible, no pressure and only occasionally warm. The staff at check in were inflexible and less than friendly

The place is very peacefully perfect. I like the poll clean and well maintained. The room is is perfectly cleaned and spacious.

Upgrade the table tennis racket.
