Agusta Eco Resort

My daughter Amanda and her husband enjoyed Agusta and they said: Agusta is a dream. The island is full of untouched life. We were at Agusta for 5 nights for our honeymoon. All the cabins are beachfront, the staff is super friendly and always greet you with a smile. Marco and Mara, the owners, are very dedicated to their island. Mara personally checks every excusion/dive plan the night before with the guides. The food is amazing, breakfast is buffet style. Lunch is usually an italian dish. For dinner you get to choose usually between a seafood dish or a variation of chicken. The only feedback we have is for the salad. Lunch and dinner would always start with a small salad, always green and purple cabbage. It would be awesome to switch it up for a caprese salad or spinach. The guides are very knowledgeable and care about your safety. Our dive guide Olen was amazing, would definitly recommend him. We will be going back!

Everything amazing. Transfer from our hotel in sorong very well organised (and included in the price). The room was really comfortable. The island itself offers some nice white beaches and snorkel possibilities. We also did some excursions organised by the resort. The guides were really friendly and the prices were fair enough. All the boats were comfortable and in optimal conditions. The staff was also friendly and very helpful. The whole resort is really eco (absolutely no single use plastic, even during the excursions). We can totally recommend it.

In very few opportunities, the food offered didn’t fit our taste. However, we don’t judge it as particularly negative or critical, since for dinner there were always two options available.

Really everything! The bungalow, the beach, the reef, the diving, the staff, the food. Thank you so much Mara, Marco and the entire Agusta team for your hospitality and a remarkable stay!

The duration of the stay after two weeks was still too short.

Stunning island that you can snorkel/walk around!

Never complained before and we enjoyed ourselves but future travelers need to be warned of the lower quality of food, 30 euro per day for mask/fin rental even if you are paying for diving, internet doesn’t work during daylight, they don’t accept credit cards, and there are no paddleboards, kayaks or water toys…however, the rooms and owners/divemasters are nice.

Dives are perfect as well as the meals.

People are not very customer orientated (exept Service!!!)

such a beautiful island. it’s in the middle of all of the ‘must see places’ which gives it easy access. the beds were great and so were all of the other facilities in the bungalow

nothing at all. everything was updated, beautifully designed and well maintained

The island is small , yet beautiful. The bungalows were confortable, although there was no hot water. Transportation was included in the price, which is a big plus for Raja Ampat.

The food was mediocre and if you don't eat fish than you will most likely get the same type of cooked chicken every day. However the staff from the restaurant was very nice and they were doing their best for sure! The biggest disappointment was the diving school which was badly organised .They try to sell you the diving trips during dinner, which at some point was very annoying. Morever they kept changing and cancelling trips as we were already on the boat or just before we were leaving. Our dive guide Bobby did however a great job!
