The breakfast buffet was limited and nothing special. The only positive is that the spa was clean and beautiful.

I booked one night on booking.com to try out the facility before committing to a longer stay. Unfortunately, there was an error online and the reservation only went through for one adult and did not show two young children. The staff realized this when I showed up to my dinner reservation with two kids. Instead of waiting until the next morning at check out to address it, someone from the front desk came to our table in the middle of dinner and told me there was an issue and I had to pay more money since I had kids. At the time, I did not know why there was a disconnect between what I booked online and the hotel, but the shear unprofessionalism of the staff to interrupt a dinner for this issue to simply get more money was astounding to me. I had to tell this staff member that I would handle it in the morning because she tried pulling out the print out to show me I had only one adult. Later after checking, I saw booking.com only showed one adult on the confirmation. I checked out and acknowledged this error, but again, to my surprise, they said I owed an additional $50 for the kids (ages 5 and 11) for one night and a 30 minute use of the pool. At every establishment in Italy that I have been at, kids under 12 have been free. The staff refused to acknowledge kids being free and told me I owed the money. To be clear: I did not request an extra bed or anything special for the kids, so when I asked what this $50 fee was for and the staff could not tell me, it was clear it was just a money scam. Additionally, the bed is so hard that I woke up multiple times a night in pain.
