The location is great, right on a beautiful beach with lots of restaurants and massages nearby. The room size is good and they provide complimentary pick and drop from the pier.

The room was not properly cleaned, dusty, hairs and generally not cared for. The staff were not overly friendly and we didn’t feel that beautiful warm welcome we normally feel in Thailand.

"Moc se nám tu líbilo!"

Baan Koh Mak nás nadchl hlavně svou polohou – bydlet přímo na pláži je sen. Pokoje jsou jednodušší, ale naprosto dostačující. Že chybí televize? To beru jako obrovské plus, alespoň si člověk užije atmosféru ostrova! Poloha je skvělá i díky blízkosti mnoha restaurací.

Ceny jídla v restauracích jsou obecně na celém ostrově trochu vyšší (netýká se to jen tohoto ubytování). I tak se ale dalo najít dobré jídlo za rozumnou cenu kolem 70 THB, když člověk chtěl.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. They always went out of their way to make sure every guest felt comfortable and well taken care of. I spent nearly 50 days there, and not once did I have a single negative thought about the place. Everything felt welcoming, smooth, and genuinely pleasant. I would happily return anytime — it truly felt like a home away from home.
