- etwas laut in der Nacht durch den starken Wind und die undichten Türen - Lage etwas außerhalb

Inrichting, sfeer plek en comfort. Heerlijk ontbijt.

Er is geen receptie dat was soms onhandig. Ons warm water deed het niet en wij moesten op zoek in het gebouw naar iemand die ons kon helpen. Hij heeft het vervolgens ook heel snel opgelost!

wonderful accommodation with fantastic staff and servis. Big, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and dinner. Mostly the staff really tried to accommodate us in everything, they arranged a tour of the tea plantations, offered us better rooms with a view to keep us happy without mentioning anything, the surprise was a pack to go with sandwiches and fruit. We felt really great here and have nice memories of our stay

Struttura molto bella, zona in cui si mangia molto bella. Il personale gentile , ci hanno messo musica di sottofondo durante la cena e la colazione ( inclusa nel prezzo ). Cena non buonissima ( abbiamo preso la grigliata mista). Colazione molto buona , una delle migliori.

Non c’è un sistema di riscaldamento , a Nuwara Eliya il tempo , soprattutto in bassa stagione, è molto freddo ( c’erano 14 gradi, con una tempesta fuori ). Unico modo per stare caldi era una coperta termica nel letto, questo ci ha costretto a patire il freddo durante la doccia e durante la cena e colazione. Faceva così freddo che il signore che ci ha accolto aveva il cappello di lana in testa

This is a lovely property with a beautiful woodwork staircase and statement pieces in in the common spaces. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. Breakfasts were very good.

Having come from warmer weather in Sigiriya the temperature had definitely dropped, it would have been good to have some extra blankets available in the room. They do provide electric blankets but am not a fan of these (they did provide for the second night). We would have appreciated if the staff had been more available, we were playing cards one night in the lounge area but no one come up to check if we needed anything. wanted to order any nibbles, or offer refills for ice. Would have been good if they had offered to put on some music to add some ambience. Perhaps didn't want to intrude?
