- no way to get food (or anything else for that matter) if you are hiking late - the staff is never at the reception - no way to cook your own food even though everything closes at like 20 (at 21 if you're lucky) - when I got at emergency by getting stuck in the mountains for the whole day, the owner helped me by giving a bag of hot dog buns and half a bag of potato fries. For a 1000 euro it's an underwhelming amount of support

The place is incredible! And the restaurant offers a great taste into local cuisine with a modern touch. And the beds are so gooood.

The dedication to locally produced goods (including an exceptional breakfast) and environmental care meant that the surroundings were pristine and we saw a lot of beautiful local birds and one of the best views in Lofoten. The lady at reception was also very helpful for hiking and gave us some great options

I wouldn't recommend booking activities through the hotel. They were helpful but there was a slight booking surcharge which we only found out later Secondly, if you’re coming with heavy luggage, as we were after a long trip, it is very difficult to take it down from the slippery, sloping path to the rooms because it cannot be dragged.

This place is a new one. Unfortunately we didn’t use it at maximum as our arrival was very late. This should have been an experience. We intend to comeback to taste the dinner. Breakfast was kind of frugal but tasteful.

Everything was as should have been. So I can’t say nothing about what should be improved as our stay was just for a few hours.
