Holmen Lofoten

Staff were wonderful and friendly, daily breakfast was fantastic, excellent coffee, and the cocktail menu and dinner menu was also great. I loved the location of the hotel (luckily saw the Northern lights directly above!), it was proximate to great hikes, and I really enjoyed how focused the hotel was on engaging with local businesses and produce (like seeing staff coming back from picking berries in the morning). The room was cosy, neat and warm with a great view.

Could've had more communication about the cleaning schedule (it's not daily like you might expect), and it could've been really nice to have a hotel Sauna (some rooms had private Saunas).

Small room with simple design Gourmet-Menu is tasty but overpriced

Super friendly staff, great location on the sea and close to several great hikes. The restaurant is really special, the breakfast is better than any hotel we’ve been to in the nordics and you must do dinner.

The rooms are very nice but a little small if you have a lot of luggage.

Beautiful surroundings and amazing food

Holmen is a remarkable place - design, luxury, authenticity, and incredible food in a spectacular and remote location. It's family-owned and run, and we really appreciated the warmth and generosity of the staff.
