Furneaux Lodge

I stayed there 20 years ago and unfortunately it has now become bigger, more commercialised, very noisy. However the room was tastefully furnished and with a great view and patio looking out to Marlbourgh Sound inlet

Food and drink was expensive and not very good/limited choice/shabby place for the money. Our room was near to a hot tub with noisy chatter in the evenings. Arrived via taxi boat to loud music, masses of people and children. It was a great disappointment. The restaurant was very shabby and with hot tub users nearby did not feel very private.

Location was fantastic so quiet and peacefull with good walking about. Food was excellent. Staff very good all round

Nothing just the weather

A perfect haven at the end of day 1 on the Queen Charlotte Track. A cold cider at the bar followed but a dip in the sound and soak in the hot tub before an amazing dinner. Couldn't ask for anything more. Highly recommend.

Wifi wasn't great in the cabin but we weren't there to be on our phones. The scenery is stunning.

Beautiful and very comfortable accomodation, great amenities, excellent food at the restaurant and friendly accomodating staff.

Nothing to dislike

We stayed in one of the Endeavour suites which had superb views and was well appointed. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious too.

Breakfast was lovely but a shame it was not included in the cost of your stay.

Great place to arrive after a day s walk, very nice restaurant the staff, all French were great. The location is amazing, such a beautiful place to get to and relax.
