All the food was delicious and beautifully presented.

Beautiful setting, friendly staff, comfortable cabin.

Construction work going on - which is OK - but, materials, spoil and machinery in front of our cabin impacting the view, builders blasting hip-hop music until 5pm and no acknowledgement from staff or effort by staff to limit construction impact. Seriously detracting. Didn't deliver 5-star service.

Staff were great. The restaurant/bar had a cosy atmosphere and great outlook. There is strong WiFi across the resort, which partly made up for lack of TV (rainy weather needs). Fishing off jetty was fun.

See the pics. Ridge of dirt and rock as view on the water side. Earthmoving machines as view from the rear, where an overwhelming staff quarters is being constructed. There will be zero privacy on completion in the Endeavour rooms. The feel was nothing like it is represented in marketing.

The staff made us feel like VIPs with a warm welcome note on our table and flowers for dinner.

Construction was underway for new staff accommodation.All the materials were placed in front of your water views.

Amazing location, very beautiful room on water front are something special

We had a lovely 1 bedroom room exactly the same as shown in the photos. It looked out onto the water and it was lovely to lie in bed watching the pukekohes and weka walking past. Very private. All the staff were excellent. Good walking tracks nearby.

The actual lodge itself (restaurant) was a little plainer inside than I expected.
