Casa de la Playa Beach Resort

An amazingly beautiful location, very quiet, feels like you have the beach to yourself! Lovely grounds too, ALOT of work has gone into making the place beautiful.

Fan room was very hot at night

Location, size of the casa, facilities, staff, all as should be.

It was ok. Need more thing to choose from. Need brewed coffee.. to long getting food . Food got cold waiting my all the food brought out. People like the eat to gather.

Double booked

This was a lovely room on the beach and the staff was extremely sweet.

The restaurant was out of many things. Though we wanted to stay on the quieter side, it was a bit far from the more beautiful beach for that time of year.

AC too loud, food too expensive and not good. Everything very old!! Decoration horrific!!

They helped us to rent a scooter and the guy who was responsible for the scooter was very nice and helpful.

I'm really sorry for saying this but this is the worst accomodation I ever booked. We were very disappointed with our accomodation at Casa de la Playa Beach Resort. The pictures on booking.com are very misleading!! We received a cottage type of accomodation which looked tremendously worse than in the showcased pictures. Everthing was worn out, needs renovation, there was a hole on the ceiling, the mosquite nets had holes in it. We just really expected more for this amount of money and based on what we saw in the pictures. We got much better accomodation in the island for the same amount of money. When we arrived, the staff showed us the cottage and the light bulb in the main room wasn't working. I asked if they could change it. The staff simply told me that no it's not possible and left. So we were left without light there. As their English wasn't very well I was hoping I misunderstood and it will be changed next day as it was dark but it was never changed during our stay. Also, there were ants everywhere and even a big cockroach was in our room, although we didn't eat anything in the cottage. We actually wanted to let this all go but then the worst thing happened. On the 4th day, when we came back to Casa de la Playa, I was bitten by a dog on the narrow, short dirt road which is is only way to get to the accomodation. We just came back as on the other days but the dogs acted very aggressive and one of them bit my foot. Then I told the staff what happened. They helped to clean my foot but other than that I had to ask myself or my husband because they didn't feel they are responsible. So they told me to go to the hospital, I asked for their assistance but they told me they can't come as they are only 2 of them working tomorrow and then upon request called me a driver. The owner of the accomodation conveniently wasn't available at all time, and nobody even asked me since how am I doing.
