Laguna Shores Studio Suites

Location! So close to beautiful Heisler Park, with its easy beach access, and either a walk or short drive to anyplace I wanted to go. It was quiet and comfortable. I loved having a kitchen so I could make my own breakfast without having to get dressed and go out. The handheld shower head was a nice feature, and the Murphy bed was easy to use and comfortable.

The only thing was the step down from the bridge to the parking lot. It’s clearly labeled "watch your step”, but in the dark and rain I stepped off it twice! I didn’t fall, but it was jarring. Otherwise it was great.

The captain sweet was larger than the pictures indicated. So that was a nice surprise. The toiletries, coffee amenities and complimentary microwave popcorn and pool towels were nice touches. The pool and hot tub were clean and refreshing. Having a parking space and laundry facilities added to the value. The location was excellent, as it was close to the Lawn Bowling Greens where I was spending most of my time during weekdays.

The suite was clean, with the exception of some mold growing under the silicone caulking in the shower and a bit of mildew on the ceiling above the shower door. I noted that to the receptionist upon checking out. Removing the silicone caulking in the shower and replacing with new and treating the mildew on the ceiling is recommended.

The location is convenient to access the beach and near many restaurants and shops.

You are not allowed to check in until 4:30 pm and must check out by 10:00 am

Nicely situated near downtown. The room was clean. But it was not what we expected from the pictures that were displayed on the Booking.com page so be aware that what you see you might not be what you get overall no real complaints about the facility or cleanliness or anything like that just wasn’t what we were expecting from what we saw on the website before we booked it

The pictures they show in the Booking page do not match what you get. The upper parking area is very tight.
