Breakfast was great, the view from our room and the hotel in general breathtaking.

The hotel restaurant's menu was really wide, so it could benefit from focusing on fewer dishes and making those perfectly.

The views from our room (306) were absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is peaceful and quiet, which is a top priority for us—and features an amazing terrace overlooking Ella Rock. We highly recommend catching the sunrise from your room or the terrace for a truly unforgettable experience. The breakfast buffet at the Sky Bar was good, offering a mix of Sri Lankan and continental options.

We arrived here after a 4.5-hour drive from Kandy. We were initially assigned a room directly in front of the lift, with obstructed views due to a building next door. Since this wasn’t what we expected based on the photos, we raised our concerns, and the staff quickly rectified the issue. The bed and pillows were not the best but decent enough for a night. However, the bathroom could have been cleaner, as some areas showed signs of mold and poor maintenance. If not for the stunning views, the hotel itself would feel quite basic.

The hotel had fantastic amenities including spa and a beautiful pool area

The carpet inside the room is dirty and the furniture etc are too old.

The hotel offers nice views of the surrounding mountains. It’s located just a 5 min walk from Ella city center, though the return trip requires a walk uphill. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. The staff was kind and welcoming.

The rooms could use a bit more maintenance, even though the hotel is still relatively new. Additionally, access by car is rather difficult, so arriving by tuk-tuk is a more practical option.
