Brave resort Mirissa

All good - people very helpful, kind and considerate. Good privacy, quiet and peaceful.

Road outside too noisy. Tuk-tuks forever buzzing pedestrians.

Rangana and his wife are incredible hosts and we would 100% stay here again! We stayed for 3 weeks and we’re so happy we chose their home. It was very comfortable and clean, and we felt so cared for. Rangana was there to answer all of our questions, teach us about his culture, and always help us figure out where/what to do! The breakfasts were delicious and so different every day - his wife is an amazing cook. Rangana was so thoughtful and would repeat things that he knew we liked while also surprising us often with fun new things - teas, fruits, cakes, etc. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, but a short walk to the beach, many restaurants, coffee, stores, etc. There is also a mini mart just down the street that we stopped at daily. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Mirissa!

The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable . We did have to ask for drinking glasses for the rooms as these were not provided initially. The host was very helpful. Would recommend staying here. Located on Harbour Road, so quieter end which suited us well as stayed over new year. Felt very safe here.

Drinks facilities in rooms would be a great addition.

The location of the accommodation is close to the beach, the room was very spacious. The owner Rangada is a very lovely person and even upgraded our booked room from double to deluxe free of charge. He even owns a tuk tuk and took as at a very reasonable price to Handunugoda tea estate, where he waited for us and after that recommended us to visit the Sea turtle hatchery that we did not know about. By the way, the visit was worth it. In the morning we were served delicious breakfast and even we could leave our luggage at the accommodation until our departure to the airport.

We booked it last minute and reached the property within 10 minutes. Host did his best to make the arrangements for us. The room was clean and en-suite bathroom was nice. The host was very kind and polite. He gave us a very good breakfast in packaging early morning to eat during the whale watching. Due to the seasickness we couldn’t eat it fully but the breakfast looked delicious. Thank you for this gesture. The apartment is located at 5 minutes walk from the point where whale watching begins so it was very good for us to walk early in the morning.

Water bottle wasn’t provided in the room. We asked for the water bottles and the host went to the market and bought it for us within few minutes.

Very clean. The house owner are very enthusiasm. They prepared the local breakfast for us early in the morning before our whale track. Place is near the mirrisa beach. 300 meters. Convenient for surfing.

Really comfortable stay in this gorgeous house. Very comfy beds and huge!!! Great location 2 mins from the beach walking. Arranged the whale watching trip for us. Really good breakfast too!

Lovely friendly family. Nice room with good aircon.

I never give 10's. But this place gets mine now. Just behind the beach but away from the very busy main road. It was a lovely 3 day stay where I wish we could stay longer. Spacious bedroom good aircon & roomy bathroom with lots of hot water. Our room was facing the rear and very peaceful. Only disturbed by the peacocks in the morning! Highly recommend 👌

A bedside light might have been useful.. But otherwise it was fantastic.

Lovely family guest house. Ranjan and his family were lovely. The local people around were very friendly. Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely Sri Lankan style breakfasts. Lovely room with balcony, very clean.

Room could have done with another bedside table. Perhaps some drawers.
