Brave resort Mirissa

Great location for proximity to the harbour for whale watching and in a quiet area. Close to secret beach and the main beach. Spotlessly clean with private entrance. Lovely room with private balcony. The most comfortable beds of our trip! Lovely family serving great breakfast loved the lassi.

Here we felt very welcome throughout our stay - the hosts are lovely people. The room had everything we needed and breakfast was delicious. We liked that the accommodation is a little bit away from the city hustle, so it was very quiet and safe.

Brave Resort was excellent, close enough to the beach and food, but far enough that it was quiet and peaceful. Rangana and his wife were super accommodating and helpful, arranging tuktuks, snorkel trips, and even helped us with our souvenir shopping. Breakfast was really good as well. We would definitely stay again!

Great little guest house. Our host and family were super friendly and helpful, including taking us by TukTuk to Kolgalla, and arranging very reasonable onward transport to Tissamaharama.

The location is perfect. Far enough from the city centre of Mirissa to not be bothered by loud music, but close enough to walk to the centre or the two beaches (Mirissa beach and Secret beach). There is a different entrance for the guests so you don’t have to walk through the lovely family’s home which provides you with some privacy. The host is very welcoming and will help you with all your questions. Breakfast was always served in time and was different every day. The room has airconditioning which you really need as it can be hot in Mirissa.

The hotel is amazing, everything was perfect! Very clean comfortable rooms with big bed, great location close to the beach and supermarket. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, we had delicious home made breakfast every morning

Excellent location for Whale Watching and also the beach. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Really friendly family that went out of their way to make our stay superb. Even giving us free lifts in his Tuk Tuk

Location was only steps from the whale watching office and boat launch.the breakfast was large with perfectly cooked hoppers, yogurt, dessert, tea and fresh juice. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help you. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with a new firm mattress and the best pillows so far on our trip.

There was no wifi.

Perfect location! Quiet and off the main road. 5 min walk to Marissa Beach, 15 min walk to Secret Beach. You can walk most places: restaurants, bank, grocery store, yoga class. If you're looking to go beyond Marissa, Rangana is happy to provide info on taking the bus, or make arrangements for a car/tuktuk. The breakfast was amazing and the property was not just clean, but spotless. Rangana, his wife, and 2 daughters are lovely people and so kind!
