OUTRIGGER Surin Beach Resort

An exceptional hotel with equally exceptional people. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Shortly before our trip, my wife had an accident, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate us, including informing a nearby clinic. Their care and thoughtfulness made an already difficult time so much easier to bear. We are deeply grateful. Despite the circumstances, we had a wonderfully relaxing stay and are already looking forward to returning. The rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was outstanding, and the gym and guest activities like yoga sessions are a great bonus. We also tried the restaurant and the bar, which both deliver, and the spa is excellent with pricing that compares very favorably to outside options. Highly recommended without reservation.

I didn’t like the location. Had to take taxis everywhere. As it is the beginning of the off season there was nothing much open around the property. The waves at the beach was more for surfing

Hotel felt quite new and luxurious - beautiful pool with comfortable loungers and quality towels, with pool bar. Gym was decent with variety of equipment nice bathroom to shower if needed afterwards, although air con didnt work at the time. Breakfast was refreshing at the end of 2 weeks staying at other hotels in Thailand - had more interesting options eg creative salads and lighter food. Finished at 11am which felt generous. We had half board which included 2 course meals. Lots of choice, good portions and nice food. Lots of fresh/healthy western options. Our room was nice and modern with very strong aircon. Beach across the road. Great places to eat and shop and massages all very close by. Service was great, anything we needed was attended to right away.

View from the room was poor - backyard of some flats/building with rubbish etc. Expected a balcony. Breakfast area / restaurant was extremely hot! Open plan so the outside heat dominated the temperature and no air con or fan made much difference. No full length mirror or chair to sit on in the bedroom.
