1) variety of food options available and we were able to get food for my baby that they didn’t have out . E.g we asked for hummus and they went and got for us. 2) We booked a family room which was spacious and accommodating to our needs but lighting needs to be improved. No lighting inside as usual. 3) Late breakfast was a bonus (finishing 11am) 4) Plenty of sun loungers available 5) Dedicated 16+ area in restaurants and poolside which is fabulous if you want some peace away from children and babies 6) Excellent cleaning, constant cleaners at poolside and in restaurant

1) Pool side says 1.40meters but it’s not. This poses a health and safety risk and should be looked into 2) Indoor pool is cold and not heated as advertised 3) Spa prices are more expensive than uk 4) Only one allocated area for towels, need to have minimum of at least two otherwise you take 100 towels with you and only use a few leading to wastage 5) Poolside shop sells poor quality floats. Bought two floats and kept deflating 6) The entertainment kept changing daily which was annoying, we missed a few of the good shows because they changed the days of them 7) Blankets are light and I was actually cold most nights and had to ask for extra blanket 8) The baristas at the coffee shop were good but lacked consistency. I ordered toasted marshmallow latte and it came with the toasted Marshmallow, ordered it the next day and no marshmallow. Ordered a hot chocolate and came with whipped cream and next day it came with no whipped cream. 9) Hotel shop expensive, bought the same clothes for 50% cheaper at the bazaar down 10) booking.com scammed us and would not price match the EXACT same booking, same dates, same price. Would not book via them again

We liked the beach as it is large enough and has areas with shades, the garden which we used for pram walks and the restaurants (coffee, pattiserie, a la carte, bars, buffet).

We didn’t like that staff especially in the main buffet were always touching our few months old baby on his hands because he always puts them in his mouth. Staff can be dirty from touching all bottles or sick so they should avoid touching such small babies. They need to be instructed not to touch at all especially without asking parents. Staff in the buffet also did not understand English so it was hard to communicate. We also did not like that we paid for a sea view hotel and especially emailed a week before the hotel to ask for this room as we were travelling with a baby and we received totally the opposite. No reply to our email at all and it was disappointing to see only Dolphin hotel without a seaview as floor 7 has a very poor view due to the restricted form of the hotel. The next day we had to change the room to the front of the hotel on the 3rd floor with a seaview which was not easy as we had lots of luggages and a small baby instead of relaxing after out travel. This should not happen especially to people travelling with babies who have also emailed before. Please make your team reply to emails and staff at reception to consider room allocations better as we were tricked that ‘it is a very nice room’, but when we got there it has no seaview. Lastly all the rooms are really noisy until late because of the events happening at night which we did not expect. They should be better isolated, at least some of the hotel rooms.

The frontline staff - cleaners and most waiters - are genuinely kind, hardworking people who made the stay better than it had any right to be. The sea is beautiful and the location right on Lara beach is excellent. The evening entertainment program is consistently fun and well done. The food has good variety and several dishes are genuinely tasty. There's the skeleton of a great resort here.

The rooms feel frozen in time - old phone, old hairdryer, a semi-working kettle... You can hear every door slam and every conversation in the hallway. We had left-wing rooms, sounds great right? except there's a giant A/C unit outside roaring so loudly you can't open the windows and around 3 AM the staff dump glass bottles into the trash bins right below. The food's a mixed bag. Decent spread, but beef is treated like treasure, and sushi showed up once in seven days - and even then they clearly cut corners. The cocktails are a gamble. The good ones are fine. But order anything that's alcohol and lemon juice and you'll get a glass of mostly lemon juice that tastes like a dare, served by a barman who looks like he's given up on life. Service is where it got frustrating. some staff only spoke Turkish and a tiny bit of russian/english, which made some simple requests a real chore. When three of us got food poisoning (we strongly suspect the tiramisu), reception had no first-aid supplies at all. We wanted some probiotics at 3 AM -> they said they had kefir… which they then delivered to the wrong room at 3 AM. As a bonus, we got woken at 5 AM over somebody else's missed breakfast. And everything, everything, is trying to sell you something. Bowling costs extra. The spa is brutal (€100–150 for a massage or a facial). Jet skis are a small fortune. They'll try to sell you PERFUME on the beach. Also, don't use their survey - just don't. 3/4 stars with honest feedback will be met with bullying in condescending Russian (maybe unintentional), and they will call your room like 2 or 3 times, not worth it. The taxi setup deserves its own paragraph. You can't just call a cab via the app - no one will come.
