Phong Nha Farmstay

De accomodatie (villa met zwembad) was in alle opzichten fantastisch. Zeer vriwndelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ze gaven ook veel.tips en verhalen. Fietsen waren gratis. Dik voor elkaar.

Het was soms lastig een Grab te krijgen vanwege de ligging (in een klein plaatsje op circa 9 km van Phong Nha. De (horeca)prijzen zijn relatief pittig. Dit was in de 2 weken het duurste stukje Vietnam qua accomodatie en horecaprijzen.

Well run, professional, well established. Really nice large room. Excellent Happy Hour. Useful shuttle into town. Enjoyed an Easy Rider tour of the national park w very good drivers arranged by the Farmstay.

It really is a long way from town - I did know this when I booked (my fault!) but even with their base in town, it’s a long way from the main action.

This stay absolutely made our experience in Phong Nha. The pool and surrounding area are amazing, rooms are clean and uniquely decorated, air conditioning was strong (very important for us 🥵). We loved taking the sunset safari offered in the farm stay and mostly we were grateful for the service we received especially from manager Long and staff member Nam. Yes it’s a little off the beaten track but very cheap on grab, and in our opinion this was part of the charm. The hotel also offers a shuttle and honestly it was so stunning we were happy just eating and drinking in the hotel anyway! Everything was great.

The farm stay was a lovely change from the chaos of the cities. It felt so peaceful and relaxing. The staff went above expectations to welcome you, make sure your tours were planned and advise you on the area. The WhatsApp chat group was a great idea. Keeping us up to date with what was going on at the stay and in the area. The rooms were rustic and comfortable with lovely views over the paddy fields and the food was delicious. Diem, Long and Mai were exceptional with what they do to make sure we had a fab stay and Long was great at entertaining us with his accents and impersonations, he'd make a good stand up comedian but also very professional and helpful.

The bed was abit too hard but some people might like it like that.

The private pool in the room were absolutely perfect. Spot on point. The staff were so friendly and very accommodating in every way you couldn’t ask for more. It was so relaxing and in the most amazing spot overlooking the right field so romantic.

Location was remote...the rooms themselves do not have much of a view which is a shame...but the central reception, pool and restaurant and bar have an excellent view and atmosphere

The room's aircon was not working. Sadly the rooms have been designed w high ceilings, which means whatever limited aircon is being wasted cooling irrelevant ceiling space and leaving the room rather warm

Wirklich wunderschöne Unterkunft, tolles Personal. Dank geht raus an Ben und seine Familie!

Three of us were lucky enough to stay in Elements Villa Kim, which was a short ride from the main area in the ever available free transport, in an absolutely beautiful region of wonderful Vietnam. Stunning accommodation with huge bedrooms on one side of a covered courtyard, connected on the other side to a spacious lounge/kitchen/dining room area, with a third shower room and toilet. Through the courtyard was our private swimming pool in the garden area. On the first floor was an enormous patio area, with another kitchen and a fourth shower room! The main area comprised the entrance courtyard, reception, large dining area and a good sized swimming pool, all with beautiful views out over the pastures. The staff couldn’t have been more polite and helpful, and the whole place is a huge credit to the owners who put it all together. Superlatives all round!
