Phong Nha Farmstay

Beautiful room. Fairly quiet though right on country road with plenty of scooters still. Nice view. Good food at restaurant. Friendly staff. Solid massage therapist on call.

Inconsistent water pressure and AC. High priced food and drink. Added fees.

Beautiful property! Gorgeous views of rice fields and nice area to walk around. The room and bathroom were clean, bed was comfy, and AC worked well. Staff was nice and owners really involved and kind. Insanely cool: this resort basically put the entire phong nha National park and town on the map. When they built it, no one was allowed in the park and their families thought they were insane…now it’s a major tourist destination, literally because of them and this place! They also provide great ideas for day trips (walks, self-guided scooter adventure to visit some caves, actual tours with company/guide, etc) and will help you arrange whatever you want. The owners are around and super friendly, want to make sure you have a fun trip!

It’s a bit removed from the city. We biked an hour in to town, or you can ride a scooter/grab like 20 min. Not crazy far, but for better or worse, there is nothing much around. The food is just okay, but costs 2-3x regular food in Vietnam which was a little bit of a letdown, especially since there are no other options nearby. Dont get me wrong, the food is fine, but not worth the markup. It’s not actually a FARMstay, like not a functioning farm. If you are looking for a more traditional home/farm stay (and there are lots of lovelyyyy ones we have been happy to stay at in Vietnam) this is not that — it’s more a resort with beautiful farm views. Which is also great! We don’t stay in a lot of super nice resort type places — usually more budget travel style — but It kinda feels like this place just marks prices up for things (laundry, scooter rental, food, etc all at least double normal Vietnam prices) just because they can. By no means exorbitant costs (especially by American/European standards), but you definitely pay more than typical Vietnam prices.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at this lovely farmstay. The staff was wonderful and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The food was fabulous.

The outdoor chair cushions could use a little refreshing but still a great outdoor space.

Great locations, room was big and facilities were good. Loved having breakfast looking over the rice fields during harvest

L'âme de cet hôtel et la gentillesse de l'équipe. Tout est fait pour encourager le contact humain, avec d'autres voyageurs comme avec l'équipe, et c'est ce qui rend le séjour réellement mémorable. Le restaurant est par ailleurs excellent et la décoration très réussie, ce qui ne gâche rien

La salle de bain mériterait d'être rénovée - le côté champêtre n'interdit pas de bien fixer un mitigeur ;)

Excellente adresse si vous aimez le calme et l'authenticité. Chambres confortables et propres. Nourriture délicieuse servie autour de la piscine. Endroit idéal pour rayonner à scooter. Personnel adorable et propriétaires très sympa. Nous recommandons. Activités proposées et idées d'excursions pour ceux qui souhaitent.

Everything was amazing, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was perfect. We arrived on an early train and pick up was seamless and was able to check in early, we departed super early and that was accommodated with no issues. All the staff were so friendly and actually wanted to talk to you and get to know you. Although abit out of town there is a shuttle in and out of town, and the location makes it. Breakfast watching the water buffalo is the the best.
