South Pacific Memories

It was absolutely amazing place! Couple own and run this small resort, it is so adjusted to the atmosphere that you feel really adopted here during your stay. We were lucky to book and to stay there. We were swimming, having drinks by the pool, music was great, snorkeling around the coral reef, they have all the necessary equipment for diving and snorkeling... Architecture and design of the resort is amazing, we like it very much!

Really not things that I did not like. But if I think more, I will name few, just as recommendation for improvement - breakfast was delicious and healthy, just maybe to add something more on the breakfast menu, to be able to choose. And maybe a bit stronger lights in the room, not enough now to read in the evening...

The hosts Anna and Petter looked after our every need. Loved the self contained bungalow with roof terrace and the pool. Swimming and snorkelling only available at high tide but Petter gives scuba lessons. Very comfortable and a lovely place to relax. Thank you so much for a memorable stay.

This boutique resort is simply the best. Don’t bother going anywhere else. Come straight here as you will not regret it. Spectacular, beautiful, clean, modern, relaxing, perfect location, genuine warm hosts,5 star meals throughout the day. You will not be disappointed. Definitely worth a return visit.

Amazing service. Petter and Anne are so wonderful and the staff was friendly and accommodating as well. The food is INCREDIBLE -- the best food we had in Vanuatu, by far. The property is lovely and comfortable. The shower pressure and hot water was perfect every time. The views are spectacular and the dives were great. Can't recommend enough!!

If you are looking for a centralized location to be able to do tours from and using as a jumping off point, this hotel isn't for you. The location is a bit isolated out of central Port Vila, and cost 2000 VT to get to via taxi or bus. BUT if you are looking for a beach or dive getaway, this is perfect.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at South Pacific Memories, I can't recommend it enough! The property is just gorgeous, with the swimming pool overlooking the ocean, perfectly facing the sunset. The rooms are clean and very spacious, with a big, comfortable bed. We had dinner at the property twice, and it was simply delicious. I can't wait to go back!

Nothing really. It might be worth noting that the property is a 15 to 20 minute drive from Port Vila town, it is not walking distance. It is possible to get a bus to Pango for 150 Vatu per person, followed by a 15 minute walk over a dirt track. This wasn't a problem for us though - we liked how quiet it was, whilst being close to the capital.

This was a perfect spot for our honeymoon. Petter, Anne and their entire staff were wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome at their resort. The setting on the beach was stunning and the perfect place to have an amazing breakfast or dinner. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious and the perfect place to relax after exploring the island. Petter and Anne are always around to give you some advice on places to visit or activities to do and also offer in-house diving from the resort which was an amazing experience. I couldn’t recommend South Pacific Memories highly enough if you’re looking for somewhere to stay.

Amazing place with a beautiful beach front location. Anne and Petter are very welcoming and overall amazing hosts. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. Bungalows are super fresh and clean.

The property is almost new and very modern, hosted by Norwegians

The room was very hot when we arrived. The remote control for air conditioning was missing. We asked for help but the hosts asked for money for air conditioning. A separate charged was not mentioned anywhere in the property descriptions. In contrast, air conditioning was included according to the room description. We needed to argue about this but finally got the air conditioning on without an extra charge. The hosts even offered us beers which was nice. However the overall experience suffered.
