The location is absolutely stunning — you wake up and instantly feel relaxed. The staff are incredibly welcoming, warm, and professional, which makes a huge difference to the overall experience. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The whole property has a quiet, laid-back vibe — perfect if you want to properly switch off and unwind. We also loved the restaurant setup: great music, genuinely good food, and an amazing view. It’s the kind of place where you actually want to hang around after dinner. Bonus points for Minnie (the cat) and Molly (the dog) — they are adorable. Fair warning: you will get attached. 😅

The air conditioning was a bit temperamental and only seemed to work when it felt like it, which was a little frustrating at times. A few of the power outlets in the room weren’t functioning, which made charging devices slightly inconvenient. The mattress also wasn’t the most comfortable — not a major issue, but something that could definitely be improved to elevate the overall stay.

Owner-operated and a very welcoming place to stay, beautiful grounds with direct beach access, friendly local staff, relaxed vibe and delicious food and cocktails. Super comfy beds and great advice on things to do. Snorkelling gear available when needed to check out the house reef.

Due to the price of electricity in Vanuatu AC only runs 8pm to 8am. We got used to the high summer temps (with minimal drop overnight) after a couple of days but the rooms can be pretty warm when the AC doesn’t run. Luckily there are lots of shady places to sit outdoors, plus the pool and sea.

A little more variety with breakfast would be lovely when spending a few nights.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This stay truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcomed. The staff are genuinely friendly, attentive, and highly professional. The level of service is outstanding, and the whole experience made me feel completely at home, like being welcomed back by family rather than checking into a hotel. The owners, Anne and Peter , are especially wonderful, warm, kind, and very approachable. You can really feel how much care and heart they puts into the place. Everything runs smoothly yet effortlessly, and their attitude and way of doing things made me feel deeply comfortable and looked after. The hotel itself is spotless, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully laid out. The facilities are excellent and very well maintained. It’s an absolute paradise for water activities , snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding, and kayaking. The water temperature was perfect, the sea was calm, and there were so many fish and vibrant coral. I truly enjoyed every moment on the water and felt completely immersed in nature. The food was another highlight. Lunch was served tapas-style and was delicious, and dinner was a carefully prepared 3–4 course meal. You can really taste the effort, thoughtfulness, and love put into every dish. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be back. Anne is also an Open Water diving instructor, and I would absolutely consider returning to do my Open Water certification with her. I trust her deeply and genuinely admire her professionalism, values, and personality . she creates an environment where you feel safe, inspired, and well cared for. Highly, highly recommended. This place is something truly special.

Es war absolute traumhaft! Petter und Anne sind so wundervoll und es ist alles so gemütlich. Definitiv bester Schnorchel Spot auf der Insel.

The house reef is absolutely breathtaking, offering the incredible convenience of simply strolling from the beach into the water, where you’ll be greeted by a stunning array of tropical fish. The house itself and the staff are exceptional—incredibly friendly and very helpful, particularly Anne and Petter. In the evenings, they prepare a delightful meal featuring a set menu with 3 to 4 courses, which was absolutely delicious. At lunchtime, they offer a tapas platter in various sizes, each more delectable than the last. They also have a smoothie card where you can’t go wrong with your choice. Snorkelling equipment, bikes, and a boccia game are available for free. If we had more time, we would have loved to go for a dive, as it is a PADI dive base. It’s important to highlight their handicap friendliness; all the rooms are accessible, and Petter is also a certified handicap dive instructor.
