Chandys Windy Woods Munnar

Good location of the hotel with a view of tea estate. Staff is under trained for a 5 star designation hotel. All the way from reception to restaurant staff. Not a 5 star service level, more like a 3 star. The pool was dirty. Some female guests were in the pool with full dress & no swimwear. The pool shower was out of order & no towels. Not a 5 star standard. The bathrooms are small without a tub, which should be a requirement for 5 star designation. At best, this hotel should be a 4 star. Room charges are excessive for the amenities provided. Will not stay here again.

one of the best place to stay in munnar. property has a great view. Room size was huge. food was also great. There is lot of activities to be done at the resort.

I could not think of any thing to my dislike here.

Located plum in a tea plantation overlooking the valley below. Beautifully designed reception as was our room type - premium deluxe. Food delicious, staff exceptionally helpful and friendly, attentive at meal times and organised trips for us, as well and helping organise our next journey down to Thekkady. Massage good too!

The lifts - we were on the lowest block and it gets a bit wearing going from lift to lift… 3 or 4 maybe to get to reception. I’m also not sure why they put us in a lower floor room - it was almost empty maybe twenty people at most.. I understand as we have a duel view room and that’s only possible on two lower blocks but we could have had the next one up maybe…. And there was a huge tree obscuring the view from the balcony (not suggesting anything) just that they should say this room has a limited view from the balcony.

Luxury hotel. Very clean facilities. Excellent service. Great wifi connection.

Food was very good, but not exceptional. There should be an indoor and outdoor jacuzzi and/or adult pool. When we were there a very loud family was playing in the pool.
