Baansuan Amaleena

Amaleena is such a lovely lady, she will take care of you. The bungalow is spacious with a good AC. She has the best coffee on the island. Scooters for rent as well. I loved my stay here.

Beds are hard, as everywhere in Thailand.

Amaleena is a beautiful host, she grows her own fruit on the property and can help you with scooter hire, island boat tour and transfers from the island to your next destination. She has a cafe attached to the front serving good coffee and breakfast/lunch. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Spacious room and comfortable bed, a small verandah area to sit outside. The accommodation itself was super close to the main swimming beach and restuarant/bar area. Easy to explore the island.

Everything was great, the staff is friendly and very nice. You feel like at home.

We loved every moment of our stay, quiet, cute, clean, great location, tour booking, good coffee, amazing staff, room made every day, owner giving us some banana and ice cream I mean this place is beyond what yo8 expect in Thailand.

Heartwarming hosts made us a comfortable stay. She had always snacks and ice cream for the kids, organized a special boat trip and rented us their tuktuk. Great breakfast and coffee as well, relaxed atmosphere in the whole place. Some great restaurants nearby, 5 minutes walk to the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable, everything was in good shape.

After 5 nights, we were told that some of the breakfast was not included and we had to pay extra.

The place is clean and the AC is good because it’s pretty hot outside. The breakfasts were good, and we went on a boat tour suggested by the owner, it was amazing! She gave lunch to go and we went on an island tour–visited several islands around Koh Yao Noi where we swam, did snorkelling and enjoyed the views.

We stayed at different hotels on the island and popped into Amaleena for lunch and coffee a couple of times whist exploring. We promised Dah we would try out a bungalow and we were very happy to do it on our last night. I wished we'd stayed for longer as it felt more memorable and meaningful than a bigger/fancier resort. The bungalow had a lovely bed, good a/c, it was spotless and located in a pretty garden. It's a great location for cycling and scooting around. They can arrange onward travel and anything else you need. Dah is a warm and charming host, a good cook and a talented business lady too. We wish her and the family all the best and really look forward to staying again.

we loved our stay here! - the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean - the grounds are well maintained - the beds are firm (Asian style) and comfortable - the breakfast is basic but delicious and the coffee is so good! it is definitely the best we’ve had in Thailand The real highlight is the owners! Amaleena is so warm and sweet and takes time to speak with all of the guests, despite language barriers. She really made us feel like we were the most welcome through sitting down with us and chatting and constantly trying to feed us! We only wish we had been able to speak more! We will definitely be back when we are back in the area

the one thing to note is that since the property is on the main road, there is a bit of road noise. it isn’t a busy island and the noise does die down at night, but it is there!
