Coconutnoom Ko Phangan

Location of the hotel is better than other hotels in Koh Phangan. We like just location. It's near the center of island.

Our room was so dirty, just pillow and blanket was changed by staff. Bathroom and kitchen were dirty and bad smell. And 2nd day of our accomadation we could not sleep because of mouse. Yes, there was a mouse and we could not catch it. It was so terrible condition. And Nobody help us. Staff was nowhere. If u have a problem, you cant find any staff. :( and all room and balcony is so dangerous and unsafely. If u have a child, u cant stay 2nd floor. Because there is not railing in edge of the balcony. Yes, there is railing but it so tiny. During our accomadation, two days wheather was rainy and strongly windy from sea. Ground of our room wet and water was dropping to ground from walls and balcony glass Doors. We selected this hotel by booking.com. because we thought that we trust booking website and always make a book for all accomadation. Booking should have a standart about hotels housekeeper, safe issues and etc. But there wasnt.

Stylish design. Close to downtown, shopping and restaurants. The property has access to the beach.

No hot water on the first day, did not check the room before check in. Small uncomfortable kitchen. The pool is only for looks, it is very shallow. No ashtray to smoke on the terrace. No soap.

Very poorly maintained, charged hotel prices for sub standard hostel standards, owner / manager dis interested. Missing a trick, could be an amazing place. Images misleading

Beautiful location

Mould in the ceiling, wardrobes and mothballs in wardrobes, Kitchen was not as photographed, gas bottle to turn on them to ignite hob - not safe. Ant infestation in kitchen. Fridge not seen bleach or defrosted in some time. Pool area fully of bugs and debris. Bathroom didn’t looks as if it had been cleaned in years. Hard chair (dining like) to sit outside really ? Caution when booking this property as mould poses health risks. Formal complaint raised there answer was to clean the mould whilst we were still on premises. Or move to another room which I viewed which was worse! - that on its own poses a bigger health risk so please refuse cleaning of mould whilst staying in the premed is if this is put to you ! I could add a lot more pictures but no room to do so They took our pictures whilst drinking wine at the beach area no permission granted. My mother had just received news her sister law passed away . Total invasion of privacy. Unbelievable !

The location and the staff were nice.

The room was so dirty I was appalled when I walked in, the sheets had staines on them, there was an ant infestation but don’t worry they leave you ant spray LOL! The lock didn’t work for the door, there was cockroaches, the floors were filthy, the water feature or whatever it is outside the rooms it not sage to go in and probably hasn’t had a good clean in years. This place is so run down and looks nothing like the photos, such a shame as it has so much potential, please be careful booking this as it really ruined three nights of a once in a lifetime trip. I did try to book elsewhere but as nye there was nothing so we was trapped. Felt like I was on in a celebrity get me out of there for the three sleepless nights spent!

- Showers had hot water - Staff were so helpful and accommodating - It is a very chilled vibe - The family who run it are lovely!

Due to the storm, our room leaked, which couldn’t be helped due to the construction of the building. We informed staff and were moved immediately.

Nice location on the beach, great sunrise. Super quiet.

Not very fresh, but it’s taken care of. No swimming pool
