There is nothing, we can say, we didn't like

The hotel was like new. Food was best we have had in Turkey ever. And we have been in Turkey over 10 times, different hotels. Pool was great, specious and enough sunbeds.

1.We booked 29 squaremeter room but they gave us 2 times smaller, and no working air conditioner. We demanded the room that we booked. Later we heard from the other couples that the hotel did the same to them also. 2. The lie about rooms availability- wanted to upgrade the room and have with jaccuzzi. In booking, we saw these rooms and were available all dates. At the reception they told that these are fully booked. Then we just showed them that we see those rooms from our phones- and voila, suddenly they made the upgrade to us. 3.The staff was totally incompetent. Every time they forgot the drinks we ordered or did wrong, even when they write down our orders. Very strange. Only 2 bartenders were good, the others didn’t know even how to make classic drinks. Example what they did- whiskey cola without whiskey, several times forgot to bring us drinks altough the hotel was half full, they put lemon acid so much that the coctails were undrinkable. It is pitty that the owners had tried to do everything good but the staff ruins everything. Pier was closed until 20. May.

Hotel was very clean The staff were very friendly Aquarium bar was excellent,barman Kadir especially.He makes excellent cocktails with huge smile. Meals where usually wery fine.

Considering that I was there in the pre-season I find fiew things that could be better. Night Entertainment must be better.Bends where poor,same as sound system. Life guard often wasn't on the beach so we couldn't swim in sea because red flags..

There was a good variety of food options and entertainment. Rooms were nice and clean and hotel staff were quite attentive. The local bazaar was a 10 minute walk and there was also a Western Union to exchange money.

We didn't stay at the Sidera as we were informed 2 weeks prior that it was closing earlier. Hotel staff said Arycanda was supposed to be better but I think the Sidera looked more appealing. The hotel was very busy probably because the other hotel was closed. Some of the food looked nice but tasted okay, a lot of the food was quite bland. When we went to the fine dining restaurant Pangea we waited nearly an hour plus for the food as I think the chef made the meals per dish rather than altogether and service was also pretty bad. Food options here are limited and not much options for children. The hotel is in Alanya so would take an hour or longer to visit other attractions or malls. Remember to bring an adapter as they only have 2 pin sockets too.

We stayed at the hotel on the 3rd week of October, I was afraid of the weather, but after some rainy hours in the first 2 days, the rest of the days were really hot (30-32 Celsius), the sea was also very fantastic, more hot than the water of the pools. The hotel is amazing: the quality and the variety of the food is unbelievable, many pools for children and adults, wellness (sauna and indoor pool, hammam, fitness room...), outside there is also a place for aerobics and other sport activities (like kangoo), huge pool-bar (with coctails), nice pier, theater... It is really fun and relaxing to spend the holiday there, my children enjoyed the slides, the minidisco, the beach and the game-room. All the hotels facilities, rooms are clean, the staff changes the sheets, towels, re-load the minibar every day. The staff is kind and smiley, really nice people. Animators and performers also made amazing work. This hotel really deserves the 5 stars. In our 7 days there we made tours in 3 days, one was the Alanya boat tour , the other was a city tour and sand-beach relaxing in Side and the 3rd was a safari jeep tour into the mountains and waterfalls. I recommend these programs, each show you different view of the country.

The only thing what we missed is a hot watered pool. The indoor pool was really cold, my mother-in-law is an elderly woman who doesn't like cold water, she can't swim so she had no chance to have a relaxing time in waters nor in the sea, nor in the pools. The hotel should heat the indoor pool, since in October only a few guests dared to swim in the outside pools, the water was so cold.

Perfect cleanliness, helpful staff, fantastic food, excellent programs. We had a perfect week.
