Right across from the beach. Access to 2 heated pools. Full kitchen. Comfortable bedding and linens. Easy parking

Noisy Construction work going on at the Royal Atlantic Resort. I forgot my shampoo and the woman at the front desk wouldn’t give me a small bottle of shampoo because I had rented from the owner and not the resort. I was not aware that I had rented privately. That should have been made known when I booked and what necessities I needed to bring. The screen on the sliding balcony door was rusted and fell off the track. Access to a washer and dryer would have been helpful.

Is a good location.

The location was excellent. The beach was literally across the street. The main part of town was a five-minute walk away. The apartment had a full kitchen, including a real-sized fridge, stove top, oven, and a microwave. If you want to save money on dinner, or if you get the late night munchies, that kitchen comes in handy. This is not to say that there aren't several places just steps away that offer great dining experiences. This is not a paid endorsement, but there's a take-out only seafood place called Bennett Shellfish that is only a six minute drive from town that offers, amongst other things, two delicious lobster rolls for cheaper than any other single roll in town.

I was pretty much satisfied with everything. A heads-up: This is not a four-star hotel, but you get a heck of a lot of bang for your buck. I highly recommend this place.

Everything was fine

We loved our stay at the apartment at the Royal Atlantic. Our host was extremely accommodating and sent us suggestions of things to do and restaurants to try when we arrived. We had a fabulous time and can’t wait to return!

Having stayed at many apartments over the years in the Royal Atlantic, we know what to expect and were thrilled to be located in the center of Montauk. What’s not to enjoy?! It’s Montauk! Nothing fancy but perfect for us!
