"Indimenticabile"

Tutto! L’accoglienza è stata ottima, ci hanno subito offerto caffè e tè. La camera era pulita e molto spaziosa. Cena e colazione a buffet ottime! Passare una notte qui è stata un’esperienza indimenticabile

"Smaller room much better than superior rooms"

6.0

We booked two rooms, the newer cabins "twin room" and the premium/bigger tent or "superior room". I would give 8 to the newer cabins and 4 to the superior room. The newer cabin is ok, has both air conditioning and heating so it works for the cooler nights. I would recommend you to get that one and avoid the superior one. The activities are really memorable, but pricey. Service is good although they can get overwhelmed, as this site has about 50-60 rooms, so is a big one vs others in the desert. Our driver was great, especially doing dune bashing on the drive back to the town, while playing loud and lively Arabian music. We did dune bashing at sunset (recommended and not badly priced when you consider it is 30 OMR per car, enough for our 4 people group) and camel ride at sunrise -memorable but pricey-, but more on that one in the other field. Breakfast and dinner are ok. There's Arabian musicians at night.

The superior room is terrible, this is a plastic tent that gets very hot in the day, and the first thing you get when entering by day it is the smell of a plastic tent under the sun. It doesn't have any type of heating or hot air conditioning -we asked- only cold air, so it gets very cold at night. Is definitely not worth staying there. The smaller twin room is actually better and newer. Regarding activities, this place is literally the definition of a tourist trap. There's electricity only between 6 pm and 8 am (approx.). The activities are pricey (30 OMR/66 EUR for a sunrise/ camel ride, per person) -memorable for sure, but pricey and with no other options around, it's a desert-. After breakfast they literally try to huddle everyone out and drive people back to the town, the latest we could push our drive back was to 10:00 am but they seemed unhappy with this, although they did accommodate it. I would recommend you to walk up the dune to see the sunrise (this is what the camel ride does for you, once up, you leave the camel and walk around for about 50 mins, then the camel takes you down to the camp) and then to kill the camel riding curiosity just book the short 10 OMR camel ride during the day. This is a massive camp, 50-60 rooms, so if you want a more private dessert experience do book somewhere else.

"Meraviglioso deserto!"

9.0

Camp distante dalla città avamposto. Possibile arrivare con proprio 4x4 guidando lungo facile pista nel deserto (incantevole) oppure accompagnati dal personale se prenotato. Struttura molto grande. Camera in bungalow poco originale ma spaziosa, comoda e pulita. Ottime cena e colazione a buffet. Servizi proposti vari: scelto dune bashing all'alba. Personale molto disponibile, affidabile e puntuale. Dormire nel deserto esperienza sempre unica

"Großartiges Wüstenerlebnis!"

9.0

BBQ. Frühstück ebenfalls reichhaltig.

Die Betten sind leider (wie meist im Oman) sehr hart.
