Please note that you have to drive 14 mi in the desert to reach the camp. Please note that there is a team that will assist with the exact coordinates for the camp location after your booking is confirmed. Please note that a transport to the camp can be arranged at an added charge of OMR 40 round trip. Electricity Access: Electricity is available from 6 PM to 7:30 AM, Due to our remote location, we do not have standard electricity facilities. We rely on a generator that provides power from 6 PM to 7:30 AM. Mobile Connectivity: Mobile phone signals are accessible through both Omantel and Oredoo providers. However, please note that internet connectivity is available only through Omantel WiFi Facilities: We don't have WiFi/Internet facilities. Transportation: A 4WD vehicle is required to reach our camp. If you don’t have a 4WD, we can arrange transportation for an additional costGuests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

Location was great. The activities were extensive and the prices were reasonable. Being vegeterian, our dietary condition was taken care of, with appropriate spread available. The rooms were comfy and cozy.

Our stay at Safari Desert Camp in Bidiya was truly unforgettable. From the first moment, everything felt warm and special, thanks to the very friendly and welcoming staff. Watching the sunset from a huge dune was magical. Our driver, Saeed Al Hajri, made the experience exceptional. He was kind, professional, and took us on an amazing dune bashing ride that was thrilling yet very safe. He even surprised us by making milk tea on top of the dune while we watched the sun melt into the sand. I highly recommend requesting Saeed as your driver. The food was delicious, and the Bedouin music in the evening added a beautiful atmosphere under a breathtaking starry sky. The next morning, the fog over the dunes created a dreamlike view. I also enjoyed camel riding, where a young Bedouin boy named Abdullah took great care of us. This camp offers genuine warmth, authenticity, and unforgettable desert memories. I would highly recommend it for a truly soulful desert experience.

The only small downside was the long drive from Sohar to Bidiya, which can feel tiring at first. However, once we arrived and experienced the beauty of the desert and the camp, it was completely worth the journey. The experience truly makes you forget the distance.

Vriendelijk en bekwaam personeel. Eten uitzonderlijk goed en gevarieerd, porties echter te groot. Veel activiteiten die op korte trmijn te boeken waren. Mooie kamer! Douchekop zo groot dat er geen stralen maar heel veel druppels uitkomen. Prima om te douchen maar een waterbesparende kop zou een straal kunnen geven.
