"Unitidy rooms with full of cockroaches. Lizards on wall. RUDE STAFF. BAD SERVICE."

Nothing to like. Rooms not cleaned properly. Many Cockroaches on floor moving here and there. Very poor staff. Unfriendly behaviour.

Cockroaches all over in room. Bathroom untidy and old Lizard on wall. On requesting yo change room they said we will spray 'HIT' on floor and you can to adjust in same room. With that HIT spray smell we need to stay whole night. Very bad experience. Dont believe on room photos. Not recommended to anyone.

Good location. The public areas are looked after. Decent breakfast- sometimes it's buffet but if not many guests it is table service. There are places to sit outside but all seats are concrete so not too comfortable. Main building looks impressive.

The fan rooms are in a separate block behind the tourist office. Nothing 'heritage' about them. Rooms are dated - dirty curtains and scuffed walls. No wifi or mobile signal in my room. The photo of breakfast on this site is very misleading: the reality is no tablecloth, no orange juice and no basket of bread. BTW The day tours run by the tourist office only run if there are 15 people but they wouldn't take my details to add me to any trip that might run. It seemed like no trip was less work for them.

Lovely old building and staying in the deluxe room. Kettle provided in room . Quiet at night. Very close to railway station no need for an auto.

We shall stay there again but hope the gas crisis is fixed and kitchen is back to its good menu. The food there was very limited.
