My recent stay at Chandys Drizzle Drops - Munnar Top Station was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles, exceptional hospitality and impeccable service that gave us an unforgettable experience. Munnar was the highlight of our Kerala Trip and staying at Chandys was worth it. Location: 5/5 The highlight of Chandys is undeniably its breathtaking location at the Top Station. Perched atop the hills, the hotel offers panoramic views of the lush valleys and picturesque tea gardens. The scenery alone is worth the visit. The sight of the misty hills and verdant landscapes is simply mesmerizing. Food: 5/5 Food was simply amazing. Each meal was a delight, featuring a wide variety of dishes prepared with the freshest ingredients. Service: 5/5 The staff at Chandys go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels special. Their hospitality, professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness made our stay incredibly comfortable. Comfort: 5/5 The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities one could wish for. Our room was the Royal Suite which had a lovely jacuzzi with an amazing view. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the nightly turndown service and the luxurious bath products and sauna. Overall Experience: 5/5 Our stay at Chandys was truly memorable. Every aspect of the hotel, from the stunning location and delicious food to the exceptional service and comfort, contributed to a perfect getaway. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay. I can't wait to return!

While our overall experience at Chandys was outstanding, we found that the spa area could use some attention. The massage was mediocre and did not provide the relaxation and rejuvenation we had hoped for. The spa facilities themselves felt dated and in need of a revamp. Updating the spa's interior, enhancing the range of treatments, competent therapist, and improving the quality of services would greatly elevate the overall guest experience.

Intermittent power supply means repeated switchover to generator (lights and electronics go off and on again - with lots of beeping) Lots of small details weren’t right for the price (jacuzzi bath didn’t work, no ventilation or AC in the pretty hot gym, campfire only for an hour at odd time, only two pool loungers at the small - and cold - pool, no list of possible hiking routes and verbal descriptions were confusing) Some of the construction and decor is pretty tacky for me (fake rock facades, plastic grass in the garden, plastic chairs on the balcony partially blocking the views) Booking process was poor - request for 100% prepayment but their payment provider doesn’t take overseas credit cards and other reports of bank transfers suggest they didn’t work either Poor arrangement of onwards travel - we confirmed with them they would send a large vehicle but on the day a small sedan turned up
