Our stay at Varkala Palace was beautiful right from the moment we landed in Varkala. The property is perfectly located , just a short walk from the helipad area and right along the beachfront, surrounded by sea-facing restaurants and a refreshing coastal vibe. Check-in was smooth, but initially, we were offered an older room on the property. Since it was the rainy season, we faced a few issues with insects and even spotted some roaches inside. As I was traveling with my mom, who is quite scared of insects, I immediately reported the issue to the reception late at night. To my surprise, the staff was very prompt and understanding. They escalated the matter to their superior and quickly shifted us to a much cleaner and better-located room, all without any delay. I truly appreciated their quick response and courteous service. The property offers a peaceful blend of nature and comfort, and the prime location makes it even more special. Highly recommended for those looking to experience Varkala’s beauty with good hospitality.

Lovely relaxing time at the hotel. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful, especially Bhasker. Nice room where I could hear the waves crashing against the shore. Perfectly clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant is superb and the distance to the cliff area is nothing. Overall, even though it was low-season, I could not fault this place, I highly recommend it.

Rooms are not sound proof, you can hear talks of the next room including snoring! Some rats were running in between the wooden ceiling creating disturbance during sleep!!
