Taj Bentota Resort & Spa

I liked that the staff was friendly and nice.

Not worth the money at all.

we stayed there for 5 nights. It was absolutely perfect, the staff was absolutely wonderful. They did everything they could to make us feel good. The head chef sarath was the best chef I have ever experienced. He is so good at everything he does, he needs praise and a pat on the back to keep calm in a hectic everyday life. great food, he runs around greeting people and tries to cook everything that is asked. Gayan the room boy was fantastic, he makes everyday life a party with his smile and kindness. Loved staying there and will stay there several times.

Staff are incredibly helpful and kind. Especially Sam who is a waiter and looked after us so well. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and beautifully kept by the cleaning staff. Pool is lovely - the views are absolutely incredible. Breakfast is fantastic! The gym is probably the best hotel gym I have ever used. Spotless and good equipment.

We had an issue at check in with the ages of our children. The teenagers had been accepted on the booking as children, but the hotel said they were adults and we needed to pay more. This was really frustrating after a long journey. But the hotel agreed to honour the price we had booked for eventually.

Dylan was the best server. loved the location and pool

the rooms were on the ground level and smelled very musty/ mouldy.

Really liked the 3 dining options. Beach was nice.

How expensive

All of the staff were great. Location was amazing.

Main buffet restaurant was fine for dinner. Did not feel drawn to the other restaurants so headed out to town instead.
