A brilliant hotel with 10/10 service from all staff members! Lovely beach setting and plenty of restaurants a short walk away

The oriental restaurant in our opinion was very over priced and a bit dated / weird ambience inside - this is the only negative we have about our entire stay!

"Exceptional"

This is still one of the most beautiful hotels in Sri Lanka in Bentota Beach.The landscape is stunning & the view from the hotel is exceptional.The staff are very friendly & accommodating in particular in the restaurant (Arsari & a few others).The room was very comfortable & spacious.The food is great & a small edible treat was delivered to the room daily in the afternoon.The beach is pristine & I thoroughly enjoyed aqua aerobics in the swimming pool by Janaka.Overall it's a very scenic & relaxing hotel.

There was a bit of an admin problem when I booked via the original website & an anomaly occurred, which I'm not sure was by accident as there was no mention on my account, so the dates were mixed up.Then I ended up booking with booking.com.There should have been an option of paying in Sri Lankan LKRs, rather than $, which most hotels allow for in Sri Lanka.Also, there were some guests who were quite rude & loud in the restaurant, towards the staff & towards or disturbed other guests.Which in my opinion should have been called out, as it's a 5 star hotel & that sort of behaviour shouldn't be tolerated as each guest has spent a lot to be there.

"Clean , nice getaway resort for relax"

Clean and nice rooms. Good food . Welcoming and friendly staff. Swimming pool is clean and filtered. Beach is very clean however the sea is wavy.

All was good. Swimming pool is a bit cold.

Beautiful pool, super breakfast, very nice staff. Great breakfast.

Crowded at breakfast. Coffee poor quality compared to the hotel standard. Bathroom outdated and uncomfortable.
