The Strand Boutique Resort

Incredible staff team - they were excellent, and there're always plenty of them. The rooms were also great - really big, in bungalo style, with good equipment. Very nice breakfasts, nice pool, good location near the main beach. All in all - great hotel.

There were ants in one of our room (little girls one) and there were little flooding near the WC.

Green, bushy and leafy, with relaxing atmosphere in the complex. Breakfast is good, the room is sizable and staff are friendly.

1. The air-con in the lounge and the ceiling fan in the bedroom didn't work properly. Maintenance guys came back and forth about 3-4 times to get them fixed. The air-con in the lounge must stay on, if it was turned off, it couldn't be turned back on again. 2. Swimming pool is opened between 9.00am to 9.00pm. I went swimming around 2.00pm after coming back from Station 1 with my swimwear, I was told that the swimming pool had just been treated with chemicals and wouldn't be available for the next 2 hours. Thank you for letting me know, but it's not right to do the maintenance work during the business hours, and restrict the guest access. It should have been done before 9.00am or after 9.00pm. It was my last day with them, at the end, I just didn't get a chance to swim in the pool. 3. I woke up in the morning, and saw a lot of little bugs running in the sink. I took videos and photos to show the reception, who told me to bring it up with housekeeping. I brought up all these issues to the reception, however, no meaningful compensation or follow-up action was offered

החדר מרווח ביותר, מיטות נוחות, מצעים מצויינים. השירות של כל העובדים במלון מצויין. הם זמינים מאוד ואדיבים מאוד. גם המסעדה נעימה מאוד לשהייה בה.

למרות שנראה שעבר שיפוץ, המלון קצת מיושן. ועיקר החסרון הוא המיקום שלו, והעובדה שלא נהנה מנוף לים. אמנם יש הסעה חינם למרכז וזה עוזר, אבל תלויה בזמינות הנהג.

Der Garten, die Lage, alles super

Tudo excelente! Localização a poucos metros da praia, café da manhã muito bem servido e saboroso, quartos super confortáveis e todos os funcionários do hotel são incríveis, simpáticos, atenciosos e dispostos em proporcionar a maior comodidade possível! Almoçamos e jantamos diversas vezes no hotel, pois eles possuem pratos muitos saborosos e bem servidos, com custo benéfico muito bom na minha opinião! Foi sem dúvida o melhor hotel que fiquei nas Filipinas e está na minha lista dos melhores hotéis que já me hospedei dentre todos os lugares que passei neste mundo! Com certeza voltarei e ficarei por lá =]

We loved the staff! Everyone was very friendly and helpful especially to my mom who has difficulty with walking. The guard, the restaurant staff, the front desk staff, room boys , driver and even the trainees were very accommodating. They were all friendly and efficient. We especially loved Fed at the restaurant who greeted us every morning for breakfast with a big smile and every time we come back from a trip outwide..he also made great coffees and got us some fresh mangoes from the tree. That was service ! The food was also exceptionally good from the restaurant. The whole vibe of the resort is very relaxing and the nature around is beautiful . I hope they won't change it .. it makes it very exceptional. The rooms were big and the high ceiling makes it even look more bigger. Location - the beach is just a few meters away .. this is not a beach front hotel but you can walk to the beach at the back and Diniwid beach is also just a few minutes away.

There are some minor improvement to mention for example if you have drinks at their restaurant.. it would be nice to have some extra peanuts or popcorn.. just some small thing to munch with the drinks or beer. Also if you come from the beach to the room , to have more opportunities to wash your feet.. there are 2 areas near the pool and near the restaurant but if you come from the front going to your room up..we didn't find any.. Beautiful property and extremely comfortable suites. Bed was perfect. Water pressure and hot water in shower were excellent. They had a mosquito zapper in the room which was really helpful. Breakfast was made to order (not continental) and was delicious. I had an early morning departure so they packed me a sandwich on the day I wouldn't get to have breakfast. They also arranged the door to door transfer including boat back to the airport at a fair price. I had a problem in town on my first night (Hibiscus spa in station 2, not safe for females) and the hotel manager escorted me to the local police station to file a complaint which was very kind of him

While it is in station 1, it's a bit far from a nice stretch of beach (20 minute walk). The beach in front of the property is small without amenities. It's also about a 10 minute walk uphill to the main road for tricycles. The property does offer free transport to D Mall until 6pm which is helpful. Otherwise they can call you a tricycle but those ran about 150 pesos and the public ones cost 15.

A lovely refuge away from the hustle and bustle of the Boracay beach! Very well appointment rooms, wonderful staff, excellent facilities and a yummy restaurant with a very generous breakfast offering!
