Condition of bungalow and grounds

Amazing place. Great pool. But the house not so clean, a lot stuff broken Ppl around me complain there is no hot water.

Property was shabby all around. Mice droppings in bathroom. Toilet not flushing properly. Lights were out on paths and above exterior doors. Outside steps deteriorated and dangerous. Porch slick with moss and mildew-one of the kids slipped and fell on it. Beds uncomfortable and old.

The property is not kept up. The grass is long and weeds are growing from all over the place. The furniture is old and worn. Couch has holes in it. Ants are in the cabins, especially the kitchen. Many cabins were shut and we were unable to extend our stay which was frustrating.

Quiet and comfortable. Never crowded.

Eagle Village is always quiet and peaceful. We visit often to be in this serene environment. We love the deer and the pool. For these reasons I always give great reviews.

The pool/rec center was locked at 3 pm on two of our five days there. Each time I walked over to the check in office and picked up the check in phone. The nice woman told me that she was trying to reach anyone but no one returned her messages. On our last full day the pool was open. An older man rode up to us on a mower as soon as we parked by the rec center and questioned me about what room I was in. I told him, 1049. He asked if I have checked in yet. I let him know that I had checked in four days ago and he went back to mowing. While my daughter and I were in the pool he came and checked on us a few times. When I was drying off he came back and asked again what unit I was in. (I should’ve worn the bracelets) I told him that the pool was closed on Monday and Wednesday. He said that he didn’t see any cars so he locked it and left. He said that it gets boring sitting in the rec center waiting for people to come. I let him know that it’s boring when the rec center is closed. We chatted for a few minutes and then he left. As I left the rec center about ten minutes later, he again asked me what unit I was in. I told him again, laughing, and told him that you can see my car from the rec center parked in front of my unit. I also explained that I visit often, this being my 4th time here this summer. I have stayed at Eagle Village more than 25 times in the past 7 years. I have family that often book at the same time. We come here to get out of the city and enjoy peace and quiet. I asked him if the rec center was going to close early. He said he would leave it open for us if we were coming back. We did return later, around 4 pm and it was open.
